I live ya man and you're a great poster, a loyal and super fan,  but I have to discount your opinion when talking anything Johnnie. Your glasses are so fogged red it's like CNN talking about the progressive movement. I wish the Vikings, Gophers  and Tommies had fans like you. Now,  Duff on the other hand doesn't seem to bet with his heart. He seems to be able look at it with less slant. If you guys are sticking to that was a great win, I'll trust you. I want the Jays to go all the way. It'll prove just how good the MIAC really was this year.

I find it mildly amusing that we're basing concern level on the two outliers this season ;).

Outliers in an 11 game season? That's 20% of the games.

2 of the last 4, if something happens 50% of the time is it an outlier?

Asking for a friend.

So, the choice is either that the MIAC is a dog this year, fallen below the competitive level of the NACC or that AU pulled out a gem of a game.  The AU offense put on more yards in first half (294) than all but two teams did in complete games all season (UST 388, GAC 495).  It's a fact that the AU QB was pulling out plays for almost the entire game that you normally only see a couple times a game.  He was elusive and consistent.

The GAC game was interesting because it also was an air attack (the Tommies having Parks was a different matter).  And again the GAC QB had a career day.  Now, you could say it's because the Johnnie D is soft or you could say that it's because that's the only way to keep up with SJU.  I say the latter.

Or you can hope SJU turn up asleep (like they have done quite a bit) and never wake up (like they did against CON).

Thought I would camp on the banks of the river Da-Nile for the night here in MIAC country.  ;D

Why do the last four?  Just look at the last game and it happens 100% of the time.

(Statistics is hard, I know)

And so it shall be.

2019 St. John's football, home of the 100% outlier.

Right on! It's up to you guys to defend our honor. Especially, since nobody made it through unscathed.

MM, I'm a guy that nearly left the Aurora game at the half.  Before half, I looked at the wife and said, "I'm going to take a walk."  :o

Trust my viewpoint.  :D

Myself took a walk up to Alcuin to pee and reflect. Grabbed a warm cup of joe at the little coffee shop and hoped we would figure out a way to win. On the final play of the game i thought their QB was going to pull off something miraculous...well we didn't lose!!!!

The UNN says that Deters is back and ready to play corner. So we'll have our first string defense and packages available this weekend.  Good news.
