Another SCSU Husky headed up I94 to Collegeville.  I have no insider info on him.

Dylan Jones, 6'0" 180lb, DB

Appreciate the tidbits of information on the St. Cloud players relocates DuffMan. I see the backup QB Justin Czech is headed to UMHB. I know it is not how the D3 world works, but it would be interesting to have a outlet that released information on the movement of the players from both St. Cloud and Crookston to D3 schools. Guessing our only source is word of mouth on here. Thanks again.

With some digging you can find relocation information on Twitter because most of the kids announce that way. SCSU was HEAVY with Wisconsin kids, so many may end up with a WIAC team unless they are offered a scholarship (or should I say partial scholarship) with another D2 school somewhere.

I have a nephew who played D2 baseball several years back and the amount of scholarship chasing by many D2 athletes is amazing. I have two neighbor kids currently chasing D2 baseball scholarships and by the time they are done getting a partial D2 scholarship I feel they'd be better off with an academic scholarship at a D3 school. I have to zip my lip because they are not my kids & not my place to say.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Like 105 said, Twitter tends to be where I see much of the info.

105:

You make some good points.  The only other aspect I might add is that (and you likely know all of this anyway) is that in some cases, "every little bit helps."  Sometimes there are kids who won't qualify for other non-academic related aid at a DIII school simply due to a family's finances.  Also, a student might be a very bright student with a very good GPA and not qualify or be offered an academic scholarship.  Obviously, each individual situation is different.  Anyway, thanks for sharing your experiences of what you have seen and I know what you mean.  Also, it is good to hear about the some of the transfers from SCSU and MN-Crookston so thanks to those of you who have kept the rest of us DIII followers informed.

Jackson Erdmann apparently has left the darkside. I just saw him at Plum's paling around and toasting with a bunch of  Tommies! I'm surprised I didn't see Faunchy?

Kinda, my son was one of the Tommies he was paling around with. It was a few live clips of a tailgate party from Plum's. I  watched from the comfort of my living room. Starting at 7am is a "young man's game"

It was actually pretty fun to see. (Fox9 News) Jackson got some camera and mic time. They introduced him as the SJU QB and he got some jeers by the predominantly Tommie crowd. He did give out a "Go Johnnies" they asked him about his future and he said he is trying to give football a try, hopefully with the Vikings.

He showed well (according to reports) down at a camp where Fulford was also attending.  Early buzz is both should earn an "invite" to a pro camp somewhere at the least.  Here's hoping as that would be cool.

A dream job would be a 3rd string QB on an NFL team. Hold a clipboard & collect a check  8-)

Yeah and she worked at Plum's for quite some time that's how he got to be friends  with so many Tommies.

I was at an estate sale w/ my wife...home of former Minneapolis Laker, Edward "Big Ed" Kalafat!

I think Jackson just came to town to deliver another one of these....SJU basketball only beat U$T by 17 (had a 23 point lead in the second half). Must suck to suck at football and basketball!  ;D
