MIAC MAN- Remember last year when your nephew got married on the Johnnie-Tommie game? Well, today we received a "save the date" from one of our nieces......November 7,2020. Not only is the the last Johnnie-Tommie football game but, it's also deer hunting opener 

OMG (Gosh)! The kicker was my nephew was a Johnnie football player! Please don't tell me she is a Bennie and/or he is a Johnnie? The deer opener is a deal breaker for me. Hopefully it's not your Goddaughter or something like that.

Not my Goddaughter and she's a proud MN State Mankato grad. He's not a Johnnie (or a deer hunter). 3 other uncles & 6 cousins who are hard core deer hunters I'm pretty sure will not attend. It's in Alexandria, so maybe (fingers crossed) is a late afternoon event.

Can I get your tickets in section 105 for the game if I promise to wear red? 

There would have to be major concessions on your part. I do have my reputation that I need to be concerned about and letting a Tommie associate use my seats would certainly tarnish said reputation. I do have to say, the view of the 50 yard line half way up is quite impressive

The Johnnies found a functional kicker in the library and word out of Collegeville is that efforts are being made to actually recruit specialists (K-P-LS) so we got that going for us...... which is nice

True- a couple years back when we went from 8 family members to just the Mrs. & I with reserved seating- we were moved across the isle to Section 104 (within 10 feet of our old seats) but I'm not changing my moniker

From what I've been seeing on Twitter, SJU's Ben Bartch is performing well at practices for  the Reese's Senior Bowl.

I think we can officially drop the level of competition concerns with St. John's (MN) OL Ben Bartch.  More than held his own at left tackle against top SEC pass rushers like Terrell Lewis of Alabama and Jabari Zuniga of Florida in the first Senior Bowl practice.

BEN BARTCH (St John's) was IMO the best offensive lineman on the South Team at Tuesday's @seniorbowl practice.  Poised, technical and smooth.  Proud of him as we trained together ... and no, that's not the reason for my high opinion of his his performance.
