it appears but I'm not certain, duffman's karma every day.

In all fairness, I took a shot at Wheaton.  :o

I'm pretty sure that taking shots is against the honor code at Wheaton.

I've also gotten drunk tailgating at Bethel... :o

I saw that and thought it was pretty humorous. Also thought that it was a good thing it was on the UMAC board and not the CCIW board, because they would of probably blitzed you there. I could see Wheaton fans still being a little sore about it.

Sore about what? We lost a playoff game because we screwed it up not because someone dominated us. That's disappointing but not a source of ongoing angst I don't think. Having beaten the National Champs convincingly and being that close in the quarters, Wheaton fans and players are nothing but optimistic about next year, with 16 returning starters including 9 from that defense, the players use last year as motivation to get back to that point and beyond knowing they have the goods to finish the deal.

Regardless of the team and sport it is just human nature for a wound to take a little longer to heal when a team someone cheers for is that close to a championship. I guess I should of said, I could see 'some' Wheaton fans still being a little sore about it.

Agree that Wheaton's future does look good for the 2020 season, should be fun to watch play out.

Kind of interesting little piece in today's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (I'd put in the link but pretty sure it's behind a paywall, I read it in the "paper"). They published their annual listing of Milwaukee area football signings after the opening of the signing period.

Under Division II signings, they've got a guy signed to University of St. Thomas (Vince Nigro, LB, Milwaukee Marquette).  Not sure what that means, where they got that info (the player, the school, etc).  Not DIII commit, not DI NLI.

It was behind a paywall, but in poking around to find more info I came across this site. Might be worth checking in on every so often in the coming months.

+K

Since the Royals weren't even MIAC when I was around, I can't say that. In fact, I went along with a buddy who was visiting (and later played hoops in the Steve Scroggins era), the campus was still on Snelling near the fairgrounds. On a trip to the fair last fall, I noticed some Bethel markings live on there.

And even a random poster like me gets one -K on each rare day I post, even if it's an innocuous blurb.  C'est la vie!

Out of the 25 OL players invited, Ben has the 4th highest rating! Just saw on Twitter that a "big time dude is coming to Collegeville." Any idea who that could be? Lost some major stars to graduation. Any idea of the talent level of the guys that have committed to St John's? Can we expect another deep playoff run?

I hate to do this but on this page that lists the invitees (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001101482/article/2020-nfl-scouting-combine-full-list-of-invited-prospects, provided by SatatagSam below) Bartch is indeed the fourth OL listed.  In alphabetical order.

(I hope you were looking somewhere else that listed them by ratings)

I saw that! Dumo must be feeling pretty salty. That's the first time I've seen him do that on Twitter. (Not that I watch Twitter super close).

It's exciting to see the program back performing at this level. I got spoiled from the start watching the '03 national championship squad my freshman year.
