Are you as concerned about all this stuff as I am. Hey, we're in the "bad" group.
I spent 4 1/2 hours this morning in the hospital emergency room for a bunch of tests. I feel like s__t.
It's apparently a flu but not COVID-19. Got the Albuterol and Prednisone so we'll see.
I get worried because I live alone. I could be on the living room floor for a month or  a year. I'm paying the price now for my abrasive personality. It' tough having no friends. Although there was this  drunk girl at the VFW DANCE.....! Never mind. Bark. Bark.
I'm trying to have some fun with a really scary pandemic.
Hope your family is well. I do have a son in Sarasota, Florida and a grandson who is a freshman at Babson college in Wellsely (sp) Mass. (I never heard of Babson either).ji
I just hope all my friends on this board are well. That's Johnnies, Tommies, Royals and all the rest.
Let's get through this so we can resume telling everyone how good my team is and pointing out that your team is pathetic.

No MLB games really sucks, no Masters sucks, but I did discover last night that Amazon Prime has the entire Andy Griffith Show available for binging.

Here's some relief.  Highlights of the season opening game between Richmond and Carlton.  It lacks all atmosphere playing in the MCG with no audience but it's something.  There is a growing push to have a lottery for one fan from each team entry.  Give them a 'Boo' and a 'Cheer' button along with a microphone to abuse the umpires.  That way even though the stadium is empty it still has the sound and atmosphere.  Maybe next weekend.

And MUC57, watch after yourself, whether it be regular flu or COVID-19.  Keep checking back here because I'll be posting highlights of all the AFL games.  And who's going to complain?   There's absolutely no live sport hardly anywhere in the world.

Hang in there buddy. Get well soon. We are doing quite well here in western CO. There isn't much to do as the place is practically a ghost town with only grocery stores and drug stores open. I read a lot but the library is closed so I will soon be out of luck.
Got my winter/spring issue of the SJU magazine. Noticed that none of my classmates got married or had babies.

    Great highlights Oz, thanks for posting. The empty stadium was pretty strange but it seemed really odd to hear what the umpires were saying to the players as play went along; crowd noise and the announcers usually block that out. Out of curiosity, is the Silvagni mentioned in the commentary any relation to Steven Silvagni who played for the Blues years ago?

The word is that both China and So Korea are on the downside of the curve already. And if that report from China is true (and that's always a problem) as irresponsible as they were, it bodes well if we follow the protocol

For all practical purposes we are almost shut down. My local liquor store is still open (although they are sold out of Everclear) and since I was thinking of you I got a bottle each of some kinds of Yalumba and Jacob's Creek.
