If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Its nice to see the Strib doing front page features on the local boy wonder who made the Show:

too bad the photos from the paper aren't on the web story

I tell ya after reading his website and that story he has to be one of my 3 or 4 favorite pro athletes.  He ranks up there with Hrbek (who I met many times up in Brainerd as a youth and teen) and Tony Richardson new Vikes FB.  Everything I hear about Greenway indicates he is another gem of a person.  Ask him what he did this week he would say well monday and tuesday I had to get up at 5 and 6am to help dad with the daily chores like loading up the pigs.  Then DROVE from SD to MN to do a final walkthrough on the house I am buying then I had to drive down to Mankato to training camp.  All this as he signs a contract for a 7 million dollar bonus!!!!!!

Don't quit your day job PC.

That's fine. My day job involves writing serious captions for sports photos; I don't intend to quit that. :)

Got stattracker up and running here, apparently Radke's pitching isn't up and running, but Detroit's offense sure is :-[

5 hits and 2 runs so far and only 1 out in the 2nd.

M&G,

How does the squad look for the upcoming season?

We got some talent. We return 2500+ yards in the backfield, and 1000 yards of passing, but the problem is numbers. Only looking at about 25 guys.  As much as I hate to say it I might have to adopt Gags' concept of little to no contact during practices, and save it for the game.   What would really put me over the top would be a corner/linebacker in the Derek Fisher mold :)

Sorry KR talkin about the HS team, besides we all know the Cobbers will walk away with the MIAC crown this year, right??
RB George Rogers, about the upcoming season:
"I want to rush for 1,000 or 1,500 yards, whichever comes first."
