To understand how old I am:
My first show/concert (although she is only ranked 89th female rock star) was Eartha Kitt in Las Vegas  with a couple of Johnnie buddies. Unforgettable
Eartha Kitt, the original Cat Woman on the 60's TV show Batman with Adam West....classic!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

She was some kind of entertainer and it was an accident. We booked a show starring Sarah Vaughan but she got sick and Eartha stepped in. We were not sorry. As an added bonus, Harry James with Betty Grable opened the show but none of you folks ever heard of them. :)

Then again the first concert I ever saw was Alice Cooper in the Minneapolis Armory.  $6 General Admission.

Ha. My first paid concert was Weird Al Yankovich and Charlie Pride at the Duluth Fairgrounds.  How they paired, I'll never guess.  But my first actual concert was Cheap Trick at Twitty City outside Nashville.

That is an odd combination.  I am a little shocked to see Charley's name on this board.  I see him around Dallas quite a bit.  He is a great guy.

Don't underestimate us 'young'uns'!  At 71, I'm too young to have seen Harry James or Betty Grable in person, but am WELL aware of them. :D

Put this in your who gives a s--t book

I'm presently watching the 1998 Mount Union -Albion playoff game on the Internet. Today, on TV, I watched the 1998 World Series, the 2014 Stanley Cup playoff and a golf match so old the hickory shafts kept breaking.
These are, indeed, sad times in which we live.
Back to the football game. I hope Mount wins! 🏈 🍺

Hey, MUC57, my friend:

I have one of those books, too! ::) :) So, you think that's bad (i.e watching those old games), the other evening, my brother sent me via email attachment the digitalized version (which he made from the old VHS film we had) of my senior year game vs. Albion College. Brought back some good and bad memories. D___n, if we had stopped that last drive....🤔😬🙂

He also sent me a photo, which I had forgotten was taken of us together at his fraternity rush event on a Sat evening way back when I visited him in Feb at Alma College (took a week off from med school with the blessing of my instructor doc). Talk about a trip down memory lane- wish we still looked like that (but perhaps not!) Anyway, he said the Alma people (his former teammates/frat bros and my former opponents), were up to putting things like that together. I told him, guess that is what it's come to-nothing better to do during this quarantine. Those people must really be bored!
So now you can put those above stories in your own WGAS book!😁

Thanks for your update. Stay safe, friend.

The natives are getting restless in your neck of the woods (well, same state anyways), BDB.

Trust me. People are cranking up their inner patriot revolution past.

The vulnerable need to stay home and be taken care of. The rest of the country needs to live on.

So they can breathe on each other and spread the virus to the vulnerable. ::)

And in case you don't know, EVERYONE is vulnerable.  Some of us, due to age or pre-existing conditions, are MORE vulnerable, but NO ONE is invulnerable.  Young, healthy individuals ARE dying, just not at nearly the same rate as the 'vulnerable'.

Stay home and cash your government checks like you have for decades Ypsi, and you will be fine.

In the meantime, young people who have babies and mortgages need to make a living. Your love of government doesn't work.

What a disgusting (and brainless) post.

Damned noisy cockatoos.  They squawk with a head splitting screech.  I spotted this one sitting in a big gum tree on the morning dog walk screaming like it insisted everyone listen.  It's a jungle out there.
