I made a trip to Home depot this morning to pick up lumber to build a veggie planter box for this kids, as the elder one has been asking for one for awhile...if not now, when?

Projects Completed during Quarantine: Painting entire house interior; Repainting kitchen cabinets + new hardware; fixed ceiling/new popcorn; new closet doors in living room; updated master bathroom. Last piece is getting new carpet, which I've obviously hired out.

The sad thing, it seems like I've made major progress on the Honey Do List. In reality, it just keeps getting new items.  :)

Duff...That's a solid setup. Perfect real life learning setup that doesn't involve a screen. Our kids have a school garden they work on weekly and they are missing it this time of year.

Thanks.  To the left of them is the normal garden where we grow tomatoes, peppers, peas, beans, carrots, and broccoli, but it'll be a few weeks till we can plant that.  We also have a raspberry patch.  I think it's important that kids grow up knowing where food comes from, hence the garden, fishing, and hunting.

A tradition unrivaled...

One of my neighbors has a weekly gathering on his back patio for scotch and cigars.  He has it enclosed and climate controlled.  It is awesome.  There is always a bottle of Robert Burns, cigars, and snacks on the table.  While he doesn't require it people will bring stuff all the time to add to the evening.

Ha.  Classic.  But you reckon they would have picked up the garbage and plastic bags lying around the back yard before sharing that video with the world.  Queenslanders is my guess.  It's very hot and humid up there.  Their brains tend to cook a little.

EDIT:  I particularly like what looks like some old wickets and a cricket bat in the back corner.  Their yard appears to be a literal jungle.  Where would they every get the room to bowl a few balls?

Close, but that pic is from a classic scifi-horror even more apropos to the current situation. Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

BDB

Through my Agent OzJohnnie (OZJ) I have informed the National Football League (NFL) that I have made myself (BDB) available in tonights NFL Draft.

With the Cincinnati Bengals (CB) having the 1st overall pick, I believe my skills at Quarterback (QB), Running Back (RB), Linebacker (LB) and Cornerback (CB) will have me off campus of Lay-Z-Boy University (LZB) and jetting to my new team and signing bonus of one billion cash ($1B).

So when you are watching tonight, whether it be on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) or the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN) you should see my pick look like this:

1st Round 1st Pick

Team :    CB
Player:     BDB
School:    LZB
Position:  QB, RB, LB, CB
Bonus:    1B
Degree: GED

I gots skills to make Bills, baby!  Oz, you did send that letter to the NFL, didn't you?   ???    ;)

So Joe Burrow went to the Bengals.  He seems like a great guy.  It's a shame his career is already over.
