Only highlight so far came in a Dairy Queen commercial.  :P

They were showing a bunch of Twins crowd shots and they showed a gal with a St. Benedicts T-shirt on.

So, that's how exciting this game has been.  :(

frank +k on 500 posts.

They just showed a feature on Hunter. Supposedly he's 100% when he get's off the DL tomorrow and will start.

Says he feels better than he has all year.  :)

That makes me feel better too especially if it means Tyner moves to RF and Rondell and Rabe DH.

KR, Don't even ask me to explain the bottom of the 8th!!!!!!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Walks, errors, short hops, a bases loaded balk....weird weird weird half inning for the good guys!!!

Kilted Rat

How rare is it that a pitcher gives up a run on a bases loaded balk?

Ladies and Gentlemen and TDT,
The Curse is Back!!!!!!!!!!!

The Curse-O-Thon is more powerful than ever!

Orioles stage a 9th inning comeback to beat the White Sox!

Man, the Twins were pumped up at the end of the game.  :)

My Packers #89 quip was good enough for instant K, but has since been demoted to second string? Weak sauce, KR.

Rumor on the street says TDT gave up on the Twins in the 7th inning to go lounge in his pool with the case of O'douls he asked his mom to pick up yesterday. Apparently he barely put a dent in it last night, as he was "feeling a little tipsy" after two.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Lohse will be gone by tomorrow. Matt Guerrier will be back from broken thumb to replace him. Torii Hunter will also be activated tomorrow, with the Twins sending down Eyre to reduce the staff to 11.

Lew Ford for Rabe. Maybe Chris Heintz for Rodriguez/Tiffee in the next couple of weeks.

Saved by the Bell: True Hollywood Story is on. Sweet.
I realize you wrote this before Rondell's hammy pulled him out of the game. So, Rondell goes on the DL, making room for Hunter. Lohse will be traded, even if is for a low Class A prospect (hopefully to an NL club, because I still think the kid has the mechanics to be good). Guerrier and Ford are a week or so away form being activated, although Ford is useless; as bad as Rabe played today, I don't care which is the last OF on the bench, Rabe or Ford. Tyner moves to left full time, giving us a solid, respectable OF.

If they bring Garza up, DO NOT WASTE HIM IN THE PEN!!! Put either Baker or Silva in the pen. My guess is they will send Baker back down to make room for Guerrier, and the Lohse spot will be occupied by Garza.
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

It was a great quip, however Cobbernation made a Dumb and Dumber  reference regarding funbags and hosehounds. How can you argue with that?

SUMMIT!!!!!

Congrats Frank....+k to you

KR-- I serious hope you meant Tyner to LEFT not RIGHT....Cuddy is solid out in RF, and his cannon arm has opponent's wary of attempting to stretch hits.

BDB--- I too can't explain the bottom of the 8th and I was there. I will say this much-- the crowd (98% of whom stayed) was wild.  The Tigers showed many moments of being a WS dynasty during the series. Today they showed plenty of flashbacks to their 2003 ineptitude, between the errors and Bonderman's balk and Inge's failure to tag out the runner at 3B.

Bonderman nearly had a no-hitter going into the 8th (Castillo's hit in the first was sketchy from my seat) and he looked awfully good thru 7... Santana looked Radke-esque with moments that bordered on Lohse-like. Somehow, though, he kept the tem in striking range.

When Neshek was warming up in the 8th, I said to former FPM "wouldn't it be sweet if Neshek comes in, gets out of the jam, and ends up getting the win?" He laughed as did the people behind us. But then came the wild, wacky bottom of 8th and Neshek nails down his first MLB win. It's nice to have 2 local boys making good in The Show.
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Yea, my bad, I love Cuddy in right, we definitely could use the speed and fielding ability in left not to mention Tyner's ability to get on base.

RC,
I will curse you only if you meet one or more of the following criteria:
a.  starting pitcher for a team facing the Twins
b.  cut me off on the highway
c.  are an MLB player playing against the Twins
d.  you start hanging out with TDT, which is a curse in and of itself.

Why do you want to be cursed anyway, or are you referencing Bonderman's first 7 innings?
