HILLBILLY AND A MIRROR
     
After living in the remote wilderness of Wisconsin all his life, an old hillbilly decided it was time to visit the big city. In one of the big city stores he picks up a mirror and looks in it. Not ever having seen one before, he remarked at the image staring back at him, 'How about that!  Here's a picture of my daddy.'  He bought the mirror thinking it was a picture of his daddy,  but on the way home he remembered his wife didn't like his father, so he hung it in the barn.
Every morning before leaving for the fields, he would go there and look at it. His wife began to get suspicious of these many trips to the barn.  One day after her husband left,  she searched the barn and found the mirror. As she looked in the glass, she fumed, 'So that's the ugly bitch he's runnin' around with.'

Haven't visited for a couple months and I feel honored to be able to post on page 3000.

Bennie - I'm getting amped for the playoffs, and am heartened by the fact that it looks like your BJ's are going to make it for the first time in their existence. I wish them (and you vicariously) luck in that quest. Nash is a beast. Since I'm a Caps fan, I am a huge Ovie fan, but would love to have Nash on my team as well. I also have the luxury of having Semin, who's hands are magical, and Backstrom, who may be the best center nobody knows, and Green to add to the mix. You have a gem in Mason, who, if the Capitals had, I think they would be the odds on favorite for the Cup. Let's hope neither disappoints.

Curious thing about the hard hat - the Capitals award a hard hat in many games to the player who has put in the effort that makes him worthy of such a distinction. It is really a badge of honor, and the player often wears it during post game interviews because of the pride they take in getting it. Do the Jackets do that too?
