If the Johnnie coaching staff is wise they will get him some looks on the offensive side of the ball.

Closed circuit to the Prez: now .288 and dropping like a tommie-girl's britches. Looking forward to you buying me more Hamm's!

Did you see the Redneck Fire Alarm?

Embinnenable, particularly for 57.  It may not be Redenbacher, but it still may be a useful tool in those high altitudes.

Daily Planet article on more recruits.

"Jordan Ramler of St. Cloud Tech"

A relation to "The Arm" and current "Pride of Carleton"?

RE: Pens/Caps. Even though the Caps have not played very well, they are still a couple bad bounces from being up 3 - 2, or having won 4 - 1. One question, Do the Pens EVER go to the Penalty Box without whining?

I need to get some of them.  :D

FYI - After this weekend's golf championship, we have almost four months of Johnnie sport wasteland until Sept 5.  (There is the track championship the weekend after next, but I reckon that will be analogous to the last strand of grass before you enter the searing sands of the Sahara - great to look at and fond in memory, but pretty sparse on the sustenance.)

On the footy front, Kubiak's inbred, floppy-eared Aussie buddy's Bombers defeated the beloved Hawks on Friday night.  Hawthorn just can't get over the injury woes as a third of their championship team continue to sit on the sidelines.  And the injury bug is rotating it's way through the team, managing to kill all attempts at building the chemistry needed to play the fast flowing spectacle of Aussie Rules.  There are just too many players rotating through the starting lineup for the team to solidify.  A team can usually manage with one or two starters out of the side, but with seven missing (and virtually a different seven every week) it's proving hard to execute as inexperienced decision making and indecisiveness leads to the inevitable, and frustrating, skills errors.

Some more monkeying around in Australia. :P

It's from Adelaide.  Hard to tell if this is the Orangutan or the zoo keeper.  I had to read the story to find out.

No! ;)

Word on the streets ... defensive back Nate Anderson will not be returning to the Johnnies.  (Yes, he got his degree.  And a good job.  This isn't D-1.  ;))

The DIII golf championships are on starting tomorrow.  You can follow the Johnnies in their attempt to three-peat the top position at live stats here.

The Johnnies tee off at 8:10am EST tomorrow (that will be 10.10pm tonight, Wednesday, for me).  No other MIAC teams (normally GAC) will be participating this year.

Good luck Johnnies!

Tmerts,

Once the degree is in hand the eligibility is exhausted per MIAC rules.  There are a variety of reasons for this with the major reason being the lack of post-graduate academic programs that would enable a graduate to be a full-time student.

I have attached Frank's article that will run in tomorrow's SCTimes regarding the remodel/expansion of the Clemens Stadium pressbox/suites.
