Listening to Mike Evans on KQRS this morning and he mentioned that the neighbors of Paris Hilton cannot stand her and want her landlord to terminate the lease Paris has at the house she is living in. Paris pays $22,000 a month for the lease. Imagine that! :o The neighbors are going to pay even more a month for the next year to make the deal reality.

I think she's broke, right?  And being sued tens of millions for a breach of contract issue.  That $150k for a Stiftungfestivities appearance may be dropping a bit.  Another couple months and she may be willing to show up for a free burger and the rights to any camera phone footage (not implying anything, just saying that could be her terms).

The highlight of my weekend, you ask? Why, it was having Hamm's with Ritz at the La Playette on Friday night.

Fins,

Were you sacked right after the Hamm's?   ;) ;) ;)  Ritz has been known to give up a few.

Congratulations to Fr. Bob Koopman, new president of SJU.

The new President has his own website - http://www.employees.csbsju.edu/rkoopmann/.  Does anyone here know him well?  Can we get him away from the new presidential suite and the big wigs long enough for him to get to at least one of the Stiftungfestivities? 8)

Having a few beers with Fr. Bob back in the day, I think he wouldn't be opposed to meeting the crew.  He is a fantastic individual-- very down to earth, extremely intelligent, and quite caring and considerate.  He will serve as President quite well, I am sure.

So you don't enjoy youthful exhuberance, and you equate joy to having little or no class. He enjoys when he, and other members of his team score. What an awful human being.

No I do.  My personal opinion of his antics is that he is the Terrel (sp?) Owens of the NHL.  Never said he was an awful human being, just a show off, and an athlete who likes to draw attention to himself when he scores a goal.  Again, just my opinion.

If you wear a dress to the zoo, an elephant may stick his trunk where you don't want it.

Maybe someone could embiggen.

Hey BDB,

In my new role as The Cabinet King I need to come over and do some prospecting for a dealer. Maybe we could have lunch and as mayor you would be able to point me to the key players in your fair city.

I was wondering how long it would take for this response.  ;)

Am always happy to host posters. The only real Mayor around here though is finsleft. I am more of a dog catcher.

Let me know when you are heading through.

raiderguy story- raiderguy and I are set to meet at Williams Stadium a couple years ago for the Stout-Whitworth game, right by the ticket booths. I am there right on time, looking for him. No raiderguy.

So, I call his cell phone, he answers and says he is right where he is supposed to be, near the ticket booths. We both stand up from sitting on the same wall about 2 yards away from each other.  How could I miss a guy in that much purple? ;D
