Happy Birthday to MIACPP geezer ROR!

Tonight we officially kick off the 2009 tailgate season with a gathering in Minneapolis of upcoming birthday boy Lbean, MIACPP baseball guru TC, Mr. President of the MIAC-CAC TDT, and, yours truly, Mayor Fins. Liriano will show Buehrle how it's done, as the Twins will present Lbean with an early birthday present and sweep Ozzie's hapless Whities.

Go for it, guys.  Good health and happy birthday to ROR and to Lbean.  See you in 38 days. ;)

Birthday greetings to all from me too. Sorry I couldn't join you (even though I wasn't invited ;D) Hope to see you next week at the kick off luncheon.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Duff,

Gig Harbor Cat called me yesterday.  He's up in Alaska on a vacation with some of his buddies and he landed a 44lb king salmon within the first 15 minutes on the water.  However, one of his buddies out did that effort by hauling in a 46lb'er about an hour later.

Anyone out there, can you tell me how to import some pictures to this sight?  I have several shots of the new press box I would like to share but I can't figure out how to get them here. ???

Salmon is a fish I have never caught, but I would love to give it a shot.  Plus, they are tasty as heck!

Who's in charge of keeping Lbean away from the chocolate?
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Raiderguy, I got a tour of the addition to the press box a week ago Monday. Very impressive, to say the least. Sorry I won't be able to make the kick-off luncheon next week at St. Ben's. Tried to get the day off, but we are short of judges. :'(

Any Johnnie/Bennie alums who would be interested in attending a welcoming picnic for new Johnnies and Bennies on Thursday, August 13 at Lake Ann Park in Chanhassen, 6-8 p.m., please let me know. Stiftungsfest burgers will be served. :D

Flash, call me boring.   But I'm back to the vanilla once I left Land of the Cheese.

Thanks all for the birthday wishes.     It's one step closer to getting the senior fare on the bus.

Thanks to all for the birthday wishes.  I think Geezer is the nicest thing I've been called all week.

Happy early birthday to Lbean as well.

I'd be pissed that I hadn't been invited to the affair this evening if it weren't for the festivities planned at home tonight.  Deal me in next time.  I was at the game Monday night.  The return of the piranhas.

Funny stuff ROR! Happy Birthday and many many more. +k

I echo the lack of MIACPP etiquette in the Metrodome meeting. I would have been there.  :-\

It's apparently an exclusive club - probably limited to meet the capacity of the MPD drunk tank. 8)

There's been no comment here on the 'No' from Fa-Fa-Fav-rey here.  What are the odds that he'll change his mind again?  10%?  20?

For their crimes, they must ride downtown with a mime in the paddy wagon...

And for no related reason, I include this picture that popped up during my Google image search on "drunk paddy wagon"...
