Work starts today on an addition to Leinenkugel's Brewery.  ;)

They should improve the product, not the brewery!  :o
I agree but I have to defend my home town and ROR's old stomping ground.  ;D
I've heard they have a pretty good seasonal Bock but we can't get it in western Colorado.  :(

Tried a local favorite brew down here last night called "Magic hat #9"  Quite possibly one of the best beers I have ever had.  Anyone else familiar with it?  You can really only find in on the East Coast I've been told.

And the best way for Leinie's to improve their product would be to send someone to steal the Summit E.P.A recipe!

Johnnie Tats cranks it up this morning at www.JohnnieFootball.com!

Johnnie Up Everybody!

But who is this John Stanton that is mentioned?   ;)
Isn't that the JOHNNIE that can play a lot better than his dad can post?  ;D

Fins is his father? :o

I'd be happy to claim him - he'd fit right in with my brood.
Speaking of which, Fins IV, my youngest, is now ensconced in Tommy 311 and will be happy to sell y'all a loaf on your next visit to C'ville.

And speaking of children, today's joke du jour...

Husband and wife are waiting at the bus stop with their nine children. A blind man joins them after a few minutes. When the bus arrives, they find it overloaded and only the wife and the nine kids are able to fit onto the bus.
So the husband and the blind man decide to walk. After a while, the husband gets irritated by the ticking of the stick of the blind man as he taps it on the sidewalk, and says to him, "Why don't you put a piece of rubber at the end of your stick? That ticking sound is driving me crazy."
The blind man replies, "If you had put a rubber at the end of YOUR stick, we'd be riding the bus, so shut the hell up.

On the way out the door, the lady at the counter says "Come Again"...

The blonde says "no its toothpaste this time you nosey bitch"

From the any way to make a buck department:

The Michael Vick Eagles jersey for your dog.

I thought this was in poor taste.  In their defense it should be noted that all proceeds from the sale of the jersey will go to the Humane Society.  I still think it's in poor taste.

My mother is a big dog person.  If she had her say Vick would never step foot on a football field again.  So she sent me a birthday card.  On the front were front and profile photos of a pit bull with a prisoner number underneath.  Then you opened the card and there was a picture of a chewed up jock strap and the pit bull was saying, "Yes, your honor, I chewed up Michael Vick's jock strap and I regret the fact he was wearing it at the time."   I got a good laugh out of it.

I have heard that it is stellar but have not had it yet.

Their Oktoberfest is mighty tasty (hmmm, it should be out soon  ;D ), but I don't like most of their brews.

I had a six of one of their Amber Lager I think it was and I found it quite tasty, very hoppy, full of beery goodness.

Drank it a fair amount when I lived in NYC around 5 years ago, quite tasty.  I did buy a sixer of it in Milwaukee earlier this summer when I randomly spotted it.

In other news, I'm not so ready for summer to end but definately ready to get the season started.  Hopefully the knights can continue to improve and stay around the top of the conference again this year.
