Another very interesting day at the Stiftungsfest yesterday. I got to meet Miss Minnesota of 2009, Brooke Kilgarriff. I asked her if she would be interested in attending a Johnnie game this fall and the Stiftungsfestivities. She was very excited about the opportunity. I will keep you posted.

Godfather;  Inquiring minds are wondering if you'll be hosting with Little Smokey this Saturday in RFs?

Those inquiring minds are 12, 9, 8, 7 & 4.

Johnnie Red, if you can get Miss Mn 2009 to a J's game, we would love to have her on air at some point so she can greet all of the Johnnies fans listening near and far ;D

Dusty, we will be bringing the Stiftungsfestivities to River Falls this Saturday. The tailgate will be in the parking lot and we should be setting up by 9:00 a.m. with the grills going by 10:30.

VOJ, if Miss Minnesota does make it up to Collegeville, we will get her on the air. I would also like to have her sing the national anthem. She did that yesterday at the Stiftungsfest and did a wonderful job.

Touchdown Tommy

Touchdown Tommy was at the Stiftungsfest on Saturday incognito.  What an event.  Lederhosen, Polka Music in the Beer Gardens, Unlimited Beers, Stiffy Burgers, Bingo, Softball Games, etc.

FYI: I talked with Veek the Grillmaster late last week.  He informed me that due to his packed schedule on the Arts & Crafts Circuit in Central MN he will not be attending a Johnnie game/tailgate until the 1st game of October.  No wild rice sausages and full coolers of adult bevies!!!

Ready to rock n roll now.  Clark looking forward to seeing you buddy!!!  Don't forget to stop at your local San Francisco In n Out Burger the way to the airport Friday night for a sack of them.  Will be interesting to compare them to the Stiftungsfest burgers.  BTW: No Wine at the tailgate party.  Zima or Hamm's only!!!!

TDT, I hate to say it but it's looking like you will owe a certain someone a case of bevy's for each game this year.  I think that was your bet, no?  Of course if you factor in Gardy's lineup juggling I think you should be able to get it down to a six-pack.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

TDT, looks like you're going to have to a make a swing out west to get your In-n-Out Burger fix.

Not to bad, really, given that twenty-five years or so ago when I first ran into the Double Double, it was in So Cal only.

Maybe you can get them to rent you a Cookout Trailer for one of the games. 8)

Is Buckman coming back to run the Pick 'ems again this year?  Smedindy just offered to help with it over on the Pick 'ems board; perhaps the offer of assistance might entice him back. :)

VOJ, if this happens I'm betting you'll wish you didn't have the new spacious accommodations.  ;)

I'll pick up the slack for Veek by bringing brats and a grill.

As the 2x defending champ, I'd be happy to help...

It's really a pity you don't use those instincts more often AO.   :D

Not to tweak any of the SJU faithful but I've been waiting of the explosion of stories and opinion on JF.com but it's a ghost town.  It has been a great in-season site the past couple of years....
