XXXX?  The are two punchlines to the question: Why did Queenslanders name their beer XXXX?

A1: Because you can't put "SH*T" on a label.

A2: Because they can't spell "BEER".

Almost 11pm and I'm not in bed yet, but soon.  Another Sunday where I'm shot.  Too bad.  Drive safely to those making the journey north.

By the way, Geelong destroyed collingwood in their semi-final tonight and will appear in their third straight Grand final, trying for their second win.  Since Mrs Oz was born in Geelong and is a Cats girl, I'll be supporting them over the saints which secured their Grand final berth last night in a lucky escape against the Western Bulldogs.  A reluctant update, since there are no brown and gold banners next weekend, in 7 days...

Time for the Oles to step up and show how overrated the Tommies really are.

After talking with some players and coaches this week I can say that Olaf is quietly confident. They have a solid game plan and practiced well this week.  Prediction:  St. Olaf 27  St. Thomas 14

Touchdown Tommy

Ha I believe I just hear VOJ say he read an article "somewhere" about the great rivalry between SJU and Concordia.  Somebody has been reading Touchdown Tommy on JohnnieFootball.com....

21-14 Cal at the half, very exciting game so far...

Hell yeah!  Solid win for the Johnnies!  Good performances from both sides of the ball (entire game by the offense and 2nd half by the defense).  I just hope that says more for the improvement from SJU than the state of the MIAC.
