D3football.com rankings are out and the Johnnies remain at sixth.  Tommies move up to 15th.  Bethel is undervalued and are two positions and five points short of the Top 25.  Cobbers, along with the rest of the MIAC, receive no votes.

In my biased opinion ;) I'd agree that BU is undervalued/underranked.  However, given that our body of work up to this point is 3 wins against unranked foes and 1 close loss against a top 5 team I can see why. I'm guessing more than a few pollsters are waiting to see us beat a ranked team before we get much love (aka: possibly this weekend in Collegeville).

Then again, that argument leaves no explanation for why UST is ranked at all, much less as high as they are. You know, considering they haven't beaten a quality/ranked opponent in this century!!   :o

Oz, you got some air time  ;D

Yes, and thanks for noticing.  Autographs will be available before the Tommie game for a small fee.  Condescension and self-aggrandizement will be free of charge.

Sigh... mingling with the little people.  Something that must be done, I guess.

Did VOJ give shoutout to fans listening downunder?

Pierre garçon lighten em up again!  Go DIII

TDT has the pre-game autograph concession.  You can arm-wrestle him for his slot.

Quite a weekend for me.  Both TDT and Wonka described me as their "nemesis"! :-\   Oh, yeah, and then the game.

Looks like Duff will be able to make his first appearance at a Johnnie game this week...hope I don't bring bad mojo to the home team!  :-X

I'll be making my first appearance, too, on Saturday.  I can't remember a September going by without attending a game but that won't happen again.

I'll be there bright and early on Saturday to greet JR and Fins and to shake hands with TDT and TC when they show up a couple of hours later.

Fins & LBean, what time are you planning on arriving?  Larry, you should plan on driving up Friday night and staying with Fins so you are ready to roll early on Saturday.

This is going to be a long week.

Go JOHNNIES!!!
Go Johnnies!!!

Fast Facts:

The Little Wiener Doggie has attended the same amount of Johnnie games this season as Zip (Chicago), Oz (Melbourne, Austalia), and Bennie (Eugene, OR) combined.  The Little Wiener Doggie has attended 3 less games than Clark coming from the Bay Area.  The Little Wiener Doggie has attended 1 Arts and Crafts Festival on a Johnnie GameDay.  The Little Wiener Doggie has went camping on a Johnnie GameDay.  The Little Wiener Doggie has went golfing with his buddies on a Johnnie GameDay.

Forgot to mention...

Clark don't worry about the In n Out burgers anymore (but you should be worried that #2 offered TDT your swimming pool and the luxury accomodations during the President's Cup while we chatted postgame).  A member of the Flyin' Tomzciks is flying into MSP this week from Santa Barbara with plenty of Double-Doubles...

I almost forgot...our favorite former Ole ball coach could soon be a former NFL coach if the Lions can hang on today...

Don't remind me Wonka, but you know if he gets canned you can kiss that field pass goodbye
If you don't want to, you don't have to...

Fact - When you have no responsibilities (or friends for that matter) it is easier to do what you want when you want to.

The only wild rice sausage TDT will be eating on Saturday is the one that gets shoved up his ass!  Game on, homeboy!
Go Johnnies!!!

Easy now LWD.  It appears that The President has touched a small nerve with his post.

Au contrare, TDT's pals/responsibilities understand and hence observe proper ManCode which states that All Weddings, Showers, Funerals, Arts & Crafts Festivals, Golf Outings et al; will not commence on Fall Saturday's (as defined from the 1st college football Saturday to the last) between the hours of 8am-8pm.

I should note that Veek Sr. and Veek's brother John fully understand and observe the above statement in its entirety.  BTW: FYI Veek your seats are tremendous on the 50 yrd line.  Thanks a bunch!!!  8)  8)

Veek, looking forward to Saturday and the LWD/TDT throwdown.

I think The Kid will come up with me on Sat.   Consequently, I won't bunk Fri. night at Fins's Hamm's Palace.      Wooderson,  we'll be better supplied on Sat.   Promise.

VOJ, heard the reference to The Mayor and Wolfman at the end of Saturday's postgame show.       Is that  our esteemed  Mayor?       How 'bout the Wolf?

Go JOHNNIES!!!

Depends on who you call the mayor.   Our mayor is Wooderson's dad...seems to know everyone.

Saturday will be the real deal...hope the weather cooperates but early indications are for rough conditions...
