I think you're all just jealous of his delicious good looks.
When you say delicious or good looking, I'm think of catfish or ladies  ;)

Twins win this afternoon 8-3.  Now back to 2 games behind Detroit with 3 to play.  Also, article on ESPN claims Mauer was attempting to steal signs in last night's game and relayed them to Kubel!

Sounds like things boiled over a bit at the game. After a retaliatory beaning of Delmonica, both Bonderman and Laird got tossed in the 8th.

Just to be clear the article is about the Twins reaction to some guy from Maple Grove posting a YouTube video breaking down how he thinks Mauer was stealing signs.  ESPN isn't claiming he stole signs.

2 inches of rain so far in central Minnesota with forecast for rain to continue overnight and into the evening hours Friday. Thank goodness for Sprinturf......I mean, otherwise we'd have to be concerned about the rain & the sprinklers running all night as well  ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

It's Bethel week.....being respectful of the opponent.  If they can't drink it/do it/enjoy it; we won't talk about it.

Is there anyone in MIAC history that has self-inflicted more damage to their reputation than that clown Hoag?  One of his Gustie buddies needs to take him aside for a little conversation.....

Wow, everyone must be nervous about this weeks games, cuz there is just no chatter about them.

SJU fans are worried that they just don't know how good they really are yet.

Bethel fans don't know if they're top level this year and are nervous to find out this weekend.

Surprised there's no Carleton Olaf talk this week but it's likely because:

Olaf fans know they got demoralized last year and are respecting the fact that they don't have the goat.  Very nervous about where that eagle is pointing right now or should be if the sore loser Ole fans (the players have too much respect for it, or should have at least) turned it towards themselves again.

Carleton fans have likely watched the team this year and have seen their youth and are a little anxious because of it.  They can beat Olaf, but as always, they have to play to their potential.

Despite the crappy forecast, I am looking forward to take in my first glimpse of the 2009 Johnnies tomorrow.  If I witness another Johnnie meltdown, I may have a breakdown, though.  Hopefully, it's a severe beating by the Johnnies this time.

Leaving work shortly to go fishing.  Then, it's home to dry/thaw out and up to Collegeville in the morning.  Safe travels to all!

Ha! BU's policy on booze has thawed a bit...students of legal age are now allowed to imbibe in the summer months.

I imagine it's only a matter of time before they drop it all together...not that it stops anyone who wants to drink anyway, at least when I was a student.

I am a bit surprised at the rather stagnant board on friday before the game.

Anyway, looking forward to a visit tomorrow to the wonderful venue that Clemens is.

Also, I like "WithasilentK"'s assessment below of "Bethel fans don't know if they're top level this year and are nervous to find out this weekend." since that is very much how I feel about the situation.  I think they'll be better next year, but maybe they've got a better group this year than I've guessed.

Good health to all tomorrow!

I see a 31-14 SJU win in Collegeville tomorrow.

The Homecoming crowd will not be disappointed.

Red cups in fashion at the Stiftungfestivities starting at 9:00AM. Arrive early to see Veek beat down TDT   :D

GoldandBlueBU and other Royaland fans, I hope you can join us tomorrow morning for the Stiftungsfestivities in the parking lot above the scoreboard end of the field. I picked up the Stiftungsfest burger yesterday along with the cheese curds from Bongards creamery. Add the pork patties from Ruck's meat market in Belle Plaine along with Veek's wild rice brats and we should be all set. Bring a culinary delight to share if you like.
