Your brother-in-law moved in when I left town.  Things got a little brighter up north, I guess.

I've got the Tigers ans Whitesox on the tube here.  Tigers are down three-zip in the early middle innings.

Tiger announcers?  Delmon hit a granny for the twins.  5-0.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Stanbob: Why don't you Man Up and come to Cville tomorrow morning?

Tell the new wife, "This is how Stanbob rolls!!!"  TDT will make sure the Rent-a-Cops leave you alone and that Veek has a hot bevie spiked with a secret booze ready upon your arrival.

FYI: DustySJU speaks the truth.  Bethel has the best tailgating situation in the MIAC.  Lots of space, easy access, etc.  The woods are excellent for draining the snake and no harassment whatsoever from the Campus Rent-a-Cops.  Really enjoy not having to play "Hide the Hamm's Terdy Pak" when I am in Arden Hills as opposed to the scumbag RACs in Collegeville who patrol the lots like they are important.

bennie - It looks like we have something other than our Hockey Jones in common. I too am an Australian Shiraz freak. The only bad one I can remember having is a Yellow Tail.

Good luck to your Blue Jackets and Flames this year. Too bad Theo Fleury couldn't make the comeback. I heard he played pretty well, and if he had wanted to stick with it, could have at least caught on with a team, gone to the AHL, and tried to stick around for a call up. Ken Hitchcock was very complimentary of Rick Nash as a captain/team player/leader in an interview I heard today. My Caps stomped the Bruins last night. You can't stop Brooks Laich, you can only hope to contain him.

Checking the Twins score from time to time...  Trying to give it away to KC.  Gee wiz.  Bottom of eight and it's 10-7.  How do you get a 10-0 lead into a save situation?

Mr. Ypsi

Twins survive, 10-7.  Tigers lose 8-0.  I'm getting nervous.

Still, I'd rather be up 1 than down 1 with 2 to go.  Especially when you have Zack Greinke to face tomorrow!

I really hope we can win tomorrow while Greinke (who owes us after the number of times he beat the Tigers this year!) eliminates you.  If we have to pitch Verlander on Sunday, the Yankees will be chortling, regardless of who they face.

Nothing would warm Pat's heart more than a Johnnie defeat on Homecoming. I guess that's why they play the games  :-\
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Duff-have you tried Capital Brewery Octoberfest? Made in Wisconsin-pretty good. I also have a bottle of Munsterfest on hand-rated pretty highly and brewed in Munster, Indiana.
