And the Tigers are already down 2-0 and going to their 3rd pitcher of the night in the second inning.

Tigers down 3, but have runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs!

Chicago gets out of innings up 4-1 heading into the ninth.

Crazy.  Twins are tied for the lead.  Detroit are in the midst of the greatest choke since thw Whitesox gave up the lead to the Twins.

What a game.  One of the most exciting Johnnie games ever.  I could see and feel the air go completely out of the Bethel players as the ball sailed through the middle of the goal posts.

BTW - I think this is a 'coming of age' game for these Johnnies.  A game where the want to break out and prove themselves to be their own men who have earned their own piece of the Johnnie legend.  I get the feeling that this group wants to contribute more to the Legend than the Legend contributes to them.  A close Johnnie victory is on the cards.

Oz, you were so spot on.

AND THE TWINS CONTROL THEIR OWN DESTINY.

Ridiculous.  Watch for TC and TDT behind the plate tomorrow afternoon.

The Sox were really fortunate to get out of the 8th only allowing 1 run.  Ordonez and Cabrera both hit rockets.  The uniforms must feel a little tight in Detroit--the Tigers have now scored a single run in their past 19 innings.

Any estimates on Verlander's pitch limit tomorrow?  I'll put the O/U at 180.

Ok, nice win by SJU, but what about the pregame beat down?
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

ROR;  You were so damned excited after the game you left the check I wrote you in the cafeteria.... somehow one of the student workers asked my buddy Trax if he knew anyone from "JohnnieFootball.com" and as chance would have it Trax crossed paths with me on the way out of campus!

If I give it back you better hang onto the SOB because it's the luckiest damn piece of paper you've ever had and the luckiest day you ever spent on this campus!

You gotta love the way Gagliardi rolls!!!

You're always staying focused on what really matters, flash.  I'm ashamed to say that in all my excitement with the game, I forgot that TDT was most likely only able to watch proceedings through a small slit in the one eye that wasn't swollen shut.
