Hope I didn't miss this in an earlier post, but here is the UST(d) video of the Tommies kicking SJU a--:

Looks like the Tommies won by 5-6 TDs.

What no video of SJU TDs???
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Tmerton:  Email me tomorrow.  Do I have a story for you...

TDT's level of paranoia is limitless.

In response to the above, I PM'd TDT this morning, asking what sort of story he had for me.

He PM'd me back saying he would only use email or phone as he knows - "for a fact" - that Pat reads the PMs we send.

Shortly thereafter I received a PM from Pat saying that was "ridiculous" and that he does no such thing.

Just goes to show how paranoid the President is.

And correct Clark...

Really?  This is a joke, right?

I reckon you gotta give the Tommies some slack on teh ghey dancing before the game.  The thought had to be playing in their minds that they would not get the chance to dance after the final whistle.  So, now the question is how many years can Caruso keep losing to the J's before he gets the Rooneyesque toss under the bus?

And we must give the Tommies their moral victory:  Their students didn't rush the field (of course they had no reason to).  I wonder... do you think the Tommie supporters would have rushed the field and danced on the Johnnie symbol if they had won?  What are the chances?  About as inversely good as the chance that they would be meeting with any condemnation from the Tommie supporters here.

When do playoffs start - the week after Carleton?  Nov. 21?  (In years past I believe the schedule posted at gojohnnies used to show when playoffs started; I think that should continue.)

And if we win the MIAC, are we guaranteed the first game is at SJU?

Gotta get going with the plane reservations before prices shoot up. 8)

TM;  You can bet that if SJU wins out they'll get at least a couple home games to start the playoffs on November 21st.  If they just win their conference all bets are off as last year we ended making the dreadful drive to UWW to drink The Flash's Spotted Cow.

+k to TDT, and that doesn't happen often, for not accepting LBean's, aka Mr. Rogers, warddrobe compliment.

+k to Fins for complimenting TDT on his "mother's coat".

+k to Zip for having the nads to request TDT's "mother's coat" for the winter coat drive.  Some woman may be pleasantly surprised.

ROR - did your brother make it home with his Viking's cheerleaders calendar intact?  He appeared to be protecting it with his life.

But what you're talking about is an entirely different scenario.  If UST won, they would have beaten the 6th team in the nation, away, for the first time in over 2 decades.  SJU won, over #15, again.  I would not have condoned storming the field if UST won, but it would have been much more acceptable than the Johnnie fans.

Note, this does not at all include the players.  Players are more than deserving to rush the field and celebrate after a win.

Veek: I spoke with ROR today on Official business.  He was boarding a bird to Portland, OR.  Something about Scouting the 'Cats this weekend and a big protest (ho hum what is new...) were on his agenda.  I think I can safely speak for him that ROR's brother Leo did indeed get his beloved calendar home safely albeit with sticky pages...

Here is a pic of TDT with FMOAS and OAS.  She looks mighty happy standing next to me...

I voted for RC.

Great minds, flash, great minds...

What do I have to do to drum up a little more support in this thing?  I figured TDT and I would at least split Pat Coleman's vote.

How fitting that Heimie's Haberdashery's homepage touts their custom purses.  When will you be bringing yours to Collegeville?

I voted for a person who showed a "lackluster" ability to withhold his comments about the MIAC recently.
