I voted for RC.

Great minds, flash, great minds...

What do I have to do to drum up a little more support in this thing?  I figured TDT and I would at least split Pat Coleman's vote.

Eat some crow first, you wuss.  Your pre-Tommie hysteria was embarrassing.

+k for that one, Tmerton.
Go Johnnies!!!

I'll admit, I was way off on my USTd 31, SJU 14 prediction.

I thought that was pretty to the point.

What more do you want from me?  Do you want me to stop yelling "That's maaaah boy!!!" as loud as I can in a slack-jawwed yokel's accent after every play that #13 makes?  Because I'm not going to do it.

+k to TDT, and that doesn't happen often, for not accepting LBean's, aka Mr. Rogers, wardrobe compliment.

+k to Fins for complimenting TDT on his "mother's coat".

+k to Zip for having the nads to request TDT's "mother's coat" for the winter coat drive.  Some woman may be pleasantly surprised.

ROR - did your brother make it home with his Viking's cheerleaders calendar intact?  He appeared to be protecting it with his life.

Veek: I spoke with ROR today on Official business.  He was boarding a bird to Portland, OR.  Something about Scouting the 'Cats this weekend and a big protest (ho hum what is new...) were on his agenda.  I think I can safely speak for him that ROR's brother Leo did indeed get his beloved calendar home safely albeit with sticky pages...

RE: The Coat

Here is a pic of TDT with FMOAS and OAS.  She looks mighty happy standing next to me...

I remember asking Kilted Rat if One Armed Scot really only had 1 arm.

He laughed and said "No, he is fully armed."  ;D

To take down TDT in this poll would be a Roneyesque "moral victory."

So:

When exiting off of 1-94 to go to Collegeville on Saturday I thought what I saw was a herd of red angus cattle that had some how gotten into a parking lot. Alarmed I informed some security of this situation, as it could be problematic when more people started to arrive. They then promptly informed me that it was indeed not red angus cattle, but Bennies tailgating.

Bench...your quote reminds me of an infamous T-Shirt from the Js vs T's matchups of years gone by...

The good:    The Tommies

The bad:      The Johnnies

The ugly:      The Bennies

I totally think the T-Shirt had it all wrong of course and I voted in the poll before I read your comment, and unfortunately I didn't vote for you or TDT

Zip when are you planning on coming up?  We might have a Football, BBall Hockey triple header in Central Mn on November 21st...IF football wins out, hopefully the NCAA in their wi$dom will grant us a home playoff game...the basketball team plays Moorhead State at 6pm at SCSU in their tournament and then the Johnnie Hockey team will face USTd at the MAC in an early MIAC matchup @ 7:30 of course all three games will be on the Bear...sports crossover time is my favorite time of the year.

VOJ-the Polish and I will be making the trip for the Nov. 21st game, if, SJU wins out and plays at home. ( I know, lots of football left) It would be interesting to see all three games and that would be a very busy day for you, so you can fuel up on the Polish.

Hope I didn't miss this in an earlier post, but here is the UST(d) video of the Tommies kicking SJU a--:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMhpRoEjZ2I

Looks like the Tommies won by 5-6 TDs.

What no video of SJU TDs???

I like how he says that the Tommies "forced a bad snap" on the last punt.  Like they somehow influenced the ball not getting anywhere near the punter.

He did eat a little crow...and this sounds like a lover's spat...Tmert should be proud of his son, he and his beloved did a helluva job raising him, and I know that from his appearance on Football Weekly, incredible humble but confident young man.

First word out of Northfield is the starting QB John Haberman is out for this game, he suffered a punctured lung in the Bethel game and may not return this year, he is a junior which is good, it would be a tough way for a senior to see his season come to an end.

Sorry Pat but I voted for your little brother...might have to create another ID to give Bench his do

TDT, ordinarily I vote for you early and often.   but not this time.      I went for USTBench.

Touchdown Tommy

Wow I am flabbergasted I am leading this poll.

FYI Veek: Murses (Man-Purses) are the wave of the future...

Clark: TC is right.  What kind of hop, skip, and jump do you want us to do?

BTW: I might not be a math guru, but I believe the total votes in the poll above equal 39, not 40 as is indicated at the bottom of said poll.  Hmmmm....
Chasing MILFs since '82...

USTBench - I almost forgot to mention...how bout them Sun Devils?!?!

Was anyone at the GAC/Carlie game this weekend? Feedback? The Gusties have now won two straight in the final seconds (:02 and :14) to pull even at 3-3. I'm not going to lie, I never saw that coming.

And the new GAC web site allows comments on game stories? I could see that being...interesting...down the line. It certainly is for newsapers, anyway. But at least TK had his recap up within 20 minutes of the game ending, unlike those who played in the Game of the Week...was that thing even up by Sunday night? ???
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

I am speechless but not surprised that you have heard of murses.  Bring yours this weekend.

I have received confirmation that a guest of mine who originally hails from Salzburg, Austria, will be in attendance this Saturday.  He informed me that there are a few, but not many, men who wear their mother's coats back home but he is not familiar with murses.  I told him that he will possibly see one this Saturday.

Yes, and Pat knows what seat he is in and what's in the overhead.
