FYI Veek: Murses (Man-Purses) are the wave of the future...

Maybe you weren't aware, but Veek is HUGE on the craft fair circuit.  You think he doesn't know about man purses?  Those things have whole tables devoted to the finest hand-made man purses in Central Minnesota.

You are really on your A game this week.  You obviously forget whose VIP seats you sat in this past Saturday.

FYI, being in charge of my local Lion's club food booth for two consecutive years at the Little Falls Arts & Crafts Fair hardly makes me an expert on the products that are offered but I can assure you that I have never seen murses there.

You are so quick to defend TDT, however, that it wouldn't surprise me if he had you carry his murse this weekend.  You can use it to sit on the hill or wherever it is that you will be seated because I know you won't be 4 rows down on the 50 yard line.

Go Johnnies!!!

Ha TC is owning you Veek.  Say Uncle!!!  You shouldn't try to match wits with some of the innovative young minds of the MIACPP...

BTW: I am guessing with nearly 100% certainty that Veek Sr would love to talk pigskin from his VIP seats with TDT and TC as his guests of honor.

CNation: TDT does indeed own that warm, comfortable, stylish winter coat included in the picture.  Don't let some of these clowns fool you.  In fact, I had three offers to buy it off my back on Saturday.  1 from LBean, 1 from Carbo, and 1 from DustySJU....

Veek Sr will be warned about his potential guests.

Putting Mr. Rogers' offer aside, did Carbo or Dusty tell you how much they would pay for your coat?  It's worth a couple bucks to keep my dog warm.

Zip - I tried to +k you for your last post but it was too soon.  There's always tomorrow.
Go Johnnies!!!

Hope I didn't miss this in an earlier post, but here is the UST(d) video of the Tommies kicking SJU a--:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMhpRoEjZ2I

Looks like the Tommies won by 5-6 TDs.

What no video of SJU TDs???

I like how he says that the Tommies "forced a bad snap" on the last punt.  Like they somehow influenced the ball not getting anywhere near the punter.

I was thinking the same thing as I listened to his cliche driven analysis of the game.  The only way USTd forced a bad snap there was if the long snapper was laughing so hard from hearing Caruso do his best Lou Holtz impression throughout the game.  The guy is a little hard on the Ssss and Spit.

I found it intesting that Caruso seemingly couldn't bring himself to say who the Tommies were playing this week. He mentioned heading up to Collegeville early in the video and mentioned St. John's once when he said that we won the toss. That was it. Lots of "they"s and "them"s but no references to the Johnnies.
Has it gotten to the point that the "J-word" is that forbidden in Tommieville?

I agree, it's time to pile on coach Caruso.  He may leave UST just cuz he can't beat SJU.

When asked on Mike Max's show last week he admitted to never having spoken to coach Gagliardi.

If you're the new "kid" on the block it's only right that you pay homage to The Sage.

C'mon TMerton... weigh in!  You've savaged TC for days now... take aim at the little general.

This is false information Veek, it's like The Fox News Network and Rush Limbaugh all rolled into one.  My only comment to TDT was why are you wearing such a beautifully warm garmet when the only thing my kids have on are their hoodies?

I learned my lesson and took my medicine after wearing "under armour" to a tailgate party... never again.

Caruso's video was the biggest joke of the season.  You would have thought the Tommies won the football game.  This guy needs a dose of reality.  He is so "Rah Rah" it is sickening.  At least be a realist.  Not everything is candy and nuts.  The Tommie defense was not nearly as great as he wants the viewers to believe.  And the Tommie offense was disgusting.  2 short fields allowed 2 scores.  I was actually feeling all day long like the Johnnies were on the verge of blowing them out.  Maybe something eerily reminiscent of the (I believe 2001 game in Cville) where the J's got up 28-0 fast in the 1st half...

Hope Glenn "Media Pawn" Caruso can get his boys up for the game vs Bethel in a few weeks.  Because right now TDT is putting this matchup squarely in favor of the Royals after having seen both squads....

I'd imagine the mood was festive Saturday night, Duff?

I was thinking of you yesterday as I was catching a pile of fat carp.  You would have loved it.

The mood was very festive.  The wedding and the fact that the bartender was going very heavy on the rum in our Cuba Libres may have done more for the atmosphere than the result of the game, though.

John Gagliardi got a mention in Gregg Easterbrook's Tuesday Morning Quarterback column at ESPN.com today as having perhaps the most secure coaching position in football.
