Foxy's is a great place, in fact, their Halloween celebration is quite legendary. Located in Great Harbour on Jost Van Dyke, B.V.I., it's just around the corner from Sydney's Peace & Love in Little Harbour. Sydney and his daughter Rena serve up some of the best fresh caught lobster in the world. Great bar, too. You write the name of your boat on a chalkboard, then go behind the bar and mix your own drink or grab a beer, and put a slash mark on the board.

Linfield should crush williamette.  If my cobbers beat them, then I think Linfield can.  It one of those comparisons similar to the U of M/Ohio State game this weekend.  The gophers beat purdue, purdue beat Ohio State, therefore U of M should win by 28!  Will this happen?  No!  Well the gophers are a better no...the answer is no!

So let me get this straight:

1) If it wasn't for "short fields," some bad mistakes, etc...SJU would've won 56 to 0. UST got outplayed all game. Their D sucked and the only reason they were in it was essentially that SJU players had tripped over their own feet a number of times.

2) Glenn Caruso is a media whore because he's been on KSTP and a few local radio shows.

3) Glenn Caruso should have to pay "homage" to Gags by getting on one knee and kissing his rings.

4) Glenn Caruso shouldn't be such a rah rah guy...he should concede the point that UST/SJU game is predetermined and we should focus on sneaking into the back door of the playoffs.

5) Glenn Caruso should not say "them" or "they" when referring to mighty SJU. He should call them the "Big Red Machine" or the "3 time National Champion St. John's University Johnnies"

     OR

We can be glad that the games are competitive and your rivals are someone worth hating again. In other words, Glenn Caruso is the exact opposite of Don Roney and this is such a good thing it makes me want to cry. I don't really care to comment on the other points, but I agree in part to most them.

But I definitely agree with point 1.  100% agree.  I am shocked it was concluded an overtime game was a blowout by SJU.  Yes they are the better team, but by how much?  An OT win? A 14 point win? A 28 point win?  And most importantly, will they be the better team at the end?  I'd say they are better by a one score win.  At least for now.

I completely agree with what one of the Tommie coaches told me after, and you can easily see this if you watched the game:  The UST D played fine.  They are good.  They were on their heels the entire game because of the terrible play by UST's O.  They were continually put in bad positions because of it.  Being put in a bad position can kill a defense, no matter how good they are.

Never in TDT's wildest dreams did I imagine that a coat I wore to the game would draw this much attention.  The forecast calls for chilly temps again this Saturday, so rest assured it will be making another appearance...

Hopefully Veek has settled down from his postgame euphoria.  I know it is tough to control yourself when you have to call TDT for the results from the game when you leave TDT and TC in your seats with 4 minutes to go in the game between 2 undefeated teams essentially playing for the MIAC conference championship.

For the last time, this past Saturday was my son's birthday.  We were hosting a party that began at 5 p.m.  I left when I did to insure that I would be home for the start of my son's party.  Every time that you or TC criticize me for leaving when I did just makes you both look like bigger asses than you already are.  Keep slinging your %&it.  It may eventually stick to someone.
