I'm sorry WH, The PC Police have informed me that you are not allowed to name yourself after anything related to Native Americans, or Native American culture.

Correct, now you won't be able to host and NCAA Championship Games.

Unless you get approval of the tribes, which is what FSU did and UND is attempting to do, they have the approval of one of the two. So, you will need to show your approval before posting again. :)

It's hard to believe that the vikings are 7-1 going into their bye week and reading previous posts it seems like they are 3-4.  The vikings defense seems to dip in the 2nd half of most of this seasons games.  However, we do have Favre at qb and can win the close games.  If we didn't have Favre we would NOT have beat San Fran or Baltimore.  His $12 million salary has got the vikings 2 incredible wins and a nice cushion in the NFC North.  Also, don't be surprised if childress gets an extension this week.

I came across the following article today and knew the only place to post such an opportunity would be here  8) 8) 8)

Looks like this group of posters could own all of PBR for a cool $300 million....I think I can see a new poll question regarding how much each one will put in for the acquisition.

GoldandBlueBU

I know we've still got several days leading up to the game...but I'm interested in previews on the BU - UST game from anyone who has seen both teams.  I haven't been to any UST games yet, so other than reading about them on here, I don't know that much about them.

Also, are there any BU posters who know something about Aakre's status? I had hoped he'd be back after the bye week, but no such luck against GAC...maybe they're saving him as much as they can for UST?

Also, since I don't know too much about the D3 playoff selection process...let's say BU win's their remaining games...do they have much of a chance to get a pool C bid with the current standings?

Pat Coleman

They have a chance, but it's not a great one. I think if Ohio Northern finishes with two losses and a win against North Central on its resume it will look very similar to Bethel with two losses and a win against St. Thomas.

But would two 8-2 teams get at-large bids? Not sure. That would be a tall order. There are only six bids to go around.

The Roop

That sounds about right. Bethel is probably the #9 Pool C right now. Running the table moves them up to 8 via the win over St. Thomas, a Mt. Union win moves them up to 7 giving Otterbein a second loss. Unfortunately they need St. Norbert to lose and pick up a second loss, which is possible but unlikely.

They should let him stay as long as Favre does.

Ok, I'm confused again.  Why don't we like Childress now?

I would say the BU defense is better than UST.

BU would be better off if Aakre can play. BU would also be better off Morse was playing QB for UST.

The RB game goes to Flannery.

The return game goes to UST.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I'm glad you said "again."

I don't know why you don't like him, but I don't like bald guys who wear glasses. ;)

So are you playing Charlie McCarthy to TDT's Edgar Bergen?  I see he claims to speak for you.

Touchdown Tommy

Clark your posts are getting more bizarre by the day.  First TDT is a front runner for showing proper respect to the Tommies.  Then you drop some obscure reference to McCarthy/Bergen where I am forced to used Google to determine the purpose of the analogy.

Closed Circuit to W. Clark: Neither TC or I were alive when Bergen DIED.  Think about that for a second Old Man Rivers....

I think Dakota Tracy adds a new element to the running game that wasn't as prevalent before. Tobin is starting to shoulder more of the load as well...and is a more effective runner between the the tackles than Wartman. Conservative estimate:
