The Scourge of Australia: all these ******* flies in the spring.

Closed loop to freebird: got your message.  Looking forward to showing some hospitality while you're in town.  I did a bit of googling yesterday and found a pub out in Waverly, a dry suburb, with no beer or music.  A bit of a drive, but we could have a great time. ;)

Why would you keep drinking honey bock if it kept giving you bad hangovers?  Wasn't there anything else to drink at SJU?

3 cases for $19.99 seemed like a good idea at the time  :-\
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

105: Veek has graciously offered a spot in his "Man Cave" on Friday night to ensure that TDT arrives at 8am.  Under any other circumstances, the expected arrival time would be approximately 10am.  For breakfast, I have requested a 3 egg omelet with bacon, sausage, and green pepper along with some apple juice and a toasted bagel.  BTW: Stearns County Hot Spot is an obvious oxymoron.  -K for being a douche.

You asked me if I had a spare room.  I told you that I did.  I never realized that you might want to stay in it.  On second thought, I don't think I have a spare room.

There he goes, talkin' 'bout food again....

In 2002, Coe was ranked 8th in the nation in scoring D giving up just 10.7 points per game. The score of the 2002 SJU v. Coe game 45-14. Same result this weekend?

How 'bout the '91 result... SJU 75, Coe 2?

Going to be gone for a couple of days. How about Song Girl Wednesday?

I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun

Key words: In 2002...

Not only is this not Coe's 2002 team, but this is also not the Johnnies 2002 team.  To state the obvious.  This SJU team just doesn't seem to have offensive weapons like Crowley (sp?) or Elliot.  Not to mention the defensive standouts like Wam-Bam-Cam and Hood (oh yeah, and our own Duffman  :)).  Not saying SJU doesn't have some very good pieces, but that 2002 team had several excellent game breakers.  Then again, 2002 Coe had Fred Jackson, before he put on 25 pounds of muscle.

I'm hoping UST and SJU both advance.  1- It's great for the MIAC.  2- I think there's an outside chance I could convince my wife to let me go to the game with my brother-in-law.  I need me some stifty burgers!!

Dude, someone had to occupy the offensive linemen while Hood ran around them  ;D

My thoughts exactly!!

I believe this defense is statistically better than 2002, so perhaps only 10 points will be scored by Coe. Yes, offensively, this team is not near 2002, so maybe only 28 points are scored by SJU. Either way a pretty easy win.

Heard Jimmy G.  say on The Fan  that Boyle was throwing "really well" and that he was looking forward to opening things up this weekend.

Interesting poll. And I must say some interesting results.  ::)

This board is totally dominated by Johnnies I see. That is what I expected. You have such a strong following. But I also see that there really is not much talk about the other team from your conference. One can only assume from the silence and from the poll taken that there is not much hope on UST doing much this weekend.  :-\

But that is OK. You are all probably correct in that feeling.  ;D

Have a nice day.  ;)

Whoa whoa whoa. SJU had a coach on the RADIO? Where's Clark leading the charge of overexposure when you need him?  ::)
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Don't recall Clark railing on that as much as some Gusties that I know.  But on a unrelated subject the Rochester Post Sports section has a nice article on the Hasting girls JV hockey program  ;)
