The Scourge of Australia: all these ******* flies in the spring.

Closed loop to freebird: got your message.  Looking forward to showing some hospitality while you're in town.  I did a bit of googling yesterday and found a pub out in Waverly, a dry suburb, with no beer or music.  A bit of a drive, but we could have a great time. ;)

Now you're talking!  I was a little worried you might try to take me to a place with loose women and cold beer  ::)

Speaking of cold beer I found Coopers Pale Ale here in Minneapolis recently!

Good luck to UST and SJU this weekend.  As much disdain as I have for SJU, I will always root for a MIAC team to beat anyone outside of the MIAC.  I'm looking forward to hearing how the SJU offense does this weekend and to see if UST can show it's talent to people outside of the MIAC (NW obviously doesn't count).  I fully expect the SJU D to dominate with Wimmer back.

Predictions with knowing little to nothing of the other teams:
SJU 31 Coe 9
UST 24 Monmouth 16

Thanks Mr. Ypsi, St. Norb's got robbed this year didn't they?
Yeah, though personally I think ONU should have been selected over either SNC OR W&J.
I agree.
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

With the UST and Monmouth offenses averaging a combined 88+ points per game, I expect the second game to be higher scoring than 24-16.  Maybe something more like 34-24.

Veek--I know you missed all of the September games traveling the Arts & Crafts Circuit (rigorous and filled with excitement, I know) so you are just rounding into playoff game form, however, Saturday's game pits the Kohawks from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA vs the Johnnies from St. John's University in Collegeville, MN.  For the record, it was the high journalistic integrity that is exhibited on a weekly basis that secured the JohnnieFootball.com Press Credential.

FYI: T-30 hours til I start packing my bags for your crib.  Make sure Mrs. Veek has a hot Sausage and Pepporoni pizza ready for my arrival.  Also, a few cold beers on ice would be excellent in the ManCave while we talk a little pigskin.  Tell your girls it is NOT okay to kick, punch, or call TDT derogatory names at any point during his overnight stay.

USTTDT - I am fully aware of who we are playing this week.  I mentioned UST in case you joined VOJ after the game for some postgame analysis.  If SJU and UST both win you obviously would not be able to contain yourself from going on and on about UST's supposed dominance that keeps playing through your mind.

Regarding your stay at my place on Friday my address is 123 Mayberry Lane Clearwater MN 55320.  If you can't locate it on Google Maps just pull into town and call me.  My number is 555-55I-OWNU.
Go Johnnies!!!

I assume St. Thomas will be making the 7 hour trip down on Friday.  Hopefully they stay in one of the smelly hotels in Monmouth and not the newest one.  Or, speaking of smell maybe they should have the dog food factory work overtime that night...anything the create an uncomfortable stay, not a whole lot of similarites between Monmouth and St. Paul.

Sounds like a real fine place you got down there. I'm not suprised, the entire state of Illinois smells like hot dog water.

1) That's the smell of commerce my man.
2) Roseau on down to Breckenridge smells exactly the same.
