Can't remember who recommended it, but I bought a case of Fat Tire for the Thanksgiving guests.  Delicious.  I wish I had a UST-SJU game to attend this saturday, sigh.

Head for the 1900 block of Grand Avenue and listen for the people having fun.  Not that you're invited, but you can drink a Fat Tire at the curbside and kinda pretend it's like the Stiftungfestivities. ;)

Will there be Vikings cheerleaders?

Having yet to receive a response from the Coleman brothers regarding the investigation they have been appointed to lead, one can only speculate that they are either convening a grand jury to help them resolve the matter or the fervor with which they rushed to the aid of USTd in 08 (Ryan posted photos/videos on the cover page immediately following the game) is applied very selectively.

I've just arrived in Sydney for a day of business up here tomorrow.  It's a beautiful, very unique city.  It's a damn shame about the traffic and polution, though.  City planners back in the day laid out the place with no regard for the needs of a bulging metropolis, unlike Melbourne's planners.  Regardless of that, however, the harbour makes for a breath taking vista.  Of all the places I have visited, I reckon that only Hong Kong comes close for natural and unique beaty.

BTW - once again Mrs Oz demonstrates that I'm luckier than I deserve (some of you mumble, "The jackass deserves no luck.").  We had Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday night as I'm travelling on Thursday.  Turkey on the Webber (too juicy to describe.  We recommend all turkey be cooked over the coals.) And mashed taters, stuffing, peas, gravy and, of course, pumpkin pie.  We invited her parents over this year to partake in the feast.  I've had two days ay work now with turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches.  Deeeeeeelicious.

Happy Thanksgiving, all.  A particular thank-you to Kubiak and the others doing the hard work overseas.

TRIPLE POST!!!

Were is all the Coe/USTD smack?  It's not like the posters are players - smack away.  We need some entertainment around here after the Johnnie departure.  Come on.  Give us something.

In the it's a small world department.

I play in a Wednesday night hoops league with other over the hill guys here in New York City. I just started in it this year, about four weeks ago. Last night I'm talking with the guy who organizes it and he mentions his wife is from Iowa. "But she went to school in Minnesota," he says.

"Oh, where?"

"School called St. Benedict's."

Huh? Yep, she's a Bennie, class of 1987, he thought. Crazy. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm going to movies all day.

Happy Thanksgiving to the MIAC PP crew.  As far as the smack talk there aren't very many Coe posters to post.  I don't think there are a lot of UST posters either.  Also I think both teams as all of the remaining 16 are happy to be here at this point in the season.

St. Thomas is going to cry like the St. Pauly girls they are after the Kohawks get done smacking them around Saturday.  You might as well stay home the whole holiday weekend or our defense will give you more lumps than your mother's mashed potatoes.  Our backs are gonna run around you faster than your grandmother's gravy around your plate.  Our receivers will make sweeter catches than your aunt's pumpkin pie.  You are going down like your cousin on a...

...ok now I'm getting carried away.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone, best wishes to you all.

Of course you're invited!  Just listen for the noise and head on back... haha I can't guarantee our keg will be up to Fat Tire standards though...

VOJ:  While Waldvogel didn't tear apart SJU, it was clear he was the player SJU worried about the most.  All SJU DBs had their eyes on him, which caused them to allow UST's first TD.

Oh how I wish there was instant replay in D3...

Well, we finished off the Fat Tire and now are working on, in my opinion, the best beer that goes with the turkey dinner, Newcastle Brown Ale.  Although, is there really a beer that doesn't go with turkey?  Happy Thanksgiving!
