For those who care to, please opine on the best quarterback St. Thomas has faced this year. Why?
For extra credit...

I'm excited to see who crafts the best argument in favor of Joe Boyle.  VOJ is the obvious favorite, but I think Dusty or OzJohnnie could surprise.

Hahahahaha +1K TC.  Spot on per is usual.  VOJ is showing he is completely delusional with the ridiculous fanaticism without a shred of objectivity (God forbid a team might be better than the Johnnies a particular year or sport).  VOJ the Tommies are embarrassing you with this playoff run!!!  Looking forward to seeing you at a hoops game this winter.  Be sure to clear your calendar postgame so that we can go out for a few brews.

Veek:  I know you've been waiting for TDT's lately culinary endeavors.  I aim to please.  Last Weds, TC and I took in the Wild game with a pregame stop at Shamrocks on W. 7th Street.  Just beers for TDT pregame and cola for TC as he is on a self-prescribed "alcohol fast" until the 1st of the year (which sources tell me didn't stop him from getting pulled over on 394 on the way home).  Upon returning via the Green Bus there was a band rocking and rolling at Shamrocks.  TDT had the Triple B Bacon Bourbon Burger.  Pretty stupendous if I might say so myself.  Cinnamon sugar bacon, smokey cheddar cheese, and a bourbon sauce along with the always stellar fresh cut fries.  Against better judgement TC went with some boneless wings that apparently were lukewarm and lacking sheer goodness.  I told him you eat burgers and fries there, but the little whippersnapper listens to no one.

Saturday morning a meeting convened at the St. Clair Broiler (corner of Snelling and St. Clair Ave in St. Paul for when you are in the neighborhood) where TDT was joined by OAS and your pal LBean.  OAS went with a couple of cold beers and the Western omelet.  I went with the cinnamon sugar encrusted french toast which was off the hook!!!

What is more needful of knowing are the following: a) is the Barney suit accompanying you to McMinnville, and b) will there be a cage match between you and Bennie as part of the pregame festivities?
Everyday is payday in paradise.

TDT,
I have checked the UST official site and no word of a charter plane. How are you going to Portland, then on the McMinville?

Make sure you take in a local wine tour.

My niece & her husband are in Portland as she attends Optometry school and he works in marketing at Nike. We will be making a trip in the spring to see them. The local wine scene is outrageous.

You need to get to the Northwest & report back on the Tomcats, as well as the culinary delight to be found from Portland to McMinville. Your "foodie" fans want to know!
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

usTDT will escape the beat down because I will be in Seattle! I am going up for the US National Short Course Swim Championships. Hmm...usTDT in a Barney suit or Olympic swimmers in Speedos! Decisions, decisions! 8)

Ok time to set the record straight.

I vouched to wear the Barney suit if the Tommies played the Johnnies in Collegeville on Nov. 28th.  This didn't happen for obvious reasons.  However, upon further research in an effort to locate said Barney costume (which was much more difficult than one might imagine, only Kids sizes available) TDT did find a purple Teletubbie suit which would have made an appearance last Saturday in the Boogie Down.

Secondly, Bennie and I are pals.  We've consumed many shots of Jagermeister and cold bevies together over the years.  No animosity between us(at least from my end, you can't manufacture this sort of thing it just happens).

RE: McMinnville

TDT is still in consideration mode.  No holiday parties are planned this weekend (Red Hot Bennie's shin dig is next weekend) so the social calendar is clear, however, 2 stops out there being Denver and Salt Lake City and 1 coming back in SLC make this a less than desirable trip.  Plus the cost is obscene so it would have to be a miles gig.  105: do you know if Rachel Ray or Giada de Laurentis have been to the Willamette Valley for a "road trip"?  TDT would like to brush up on the area's highlights if I do make the trip.

No hard feelings on my side either, though the Tommie love is tough to swallow! ;) I will have a Jagermeister shot in your honor up in Seattle! ;D

My roomate (Left Tackle on the team) has told me there is a charter plane going out to Oregon at the price of $350.  Probably going to be a pretty empty plane...

If you go, you'll double the number of Tommie fans in attendance.

And can I address this one last and final time?  My beef is not that you think the Tommies are better, but that you take glory in being right rather than regret.  More "Damn, the Tommies are good this year." and less "In your face!  I want to have Caruso's love child!"

Duff, What the heck happened to your horse...I mean dog??

If Giada is doing a wine & food tour, I'll do my best to attend.

TDT- read Little Mac77 post- $350.00 for the charter. You should definitely go.

Tommie fans are virgins when it comes to the post season- you can show them the ropes & introduce them to WC11- GHC and the rest of the crew- it would be awesome!

You would definitely increase your circle of influence as one of the premier tailgate "go-to-guys"in the MIAC. If TC isn't working this weekend, take him along to, it will be sweet!

BDB; I am embarassed.  And that, too, is tough to swallow.

Room for Max and his bevy of new friends and Tommie supporters.  However, I suspect he won't go for fear of showing off his new favorite team to his old friends in McMinnville.

Even so, the Teletubbie suit is an excellent choice - either for Linfield, or even next season (Homecoming!).  It even comes with a purse. 8)

It's not a purse, it's a European shoulder bag.
