Ask him now....
Pat has seen both Greg Morse and Aaron Boehme play.
Ask him.
A discuss and compare will suffice.

Boehme is better.

I'm not sure what assumptions you're assuming were made, Pat, but are you telling us that Greg, or whoever plays QB for the Tommies, isn't going to have any turnovers against Linfield?

No. But I don't believe he'll look like he did against SJU either, where he was missing wide open receivers and hitting receivers off stride, etc.

We don't all get to make our living watching these teams play.

Neither do I. I have a full-time day job. This is something I do for fun. Yes, dealing with you guys is what I do with my free time. Maybe my sanity should be questioned. :)

Now THAT was a +K

Pat Coleman

All I was saying was that to assume that a player will play the same as they did six weeks earlier is dangerously simplifying analysis. But I do know that challenging the Johnnie conventional wisdom around here is dangerous in and of itself. :)

+K Pat....for being a first chair trombone player!

Before I respond to your comments, I greatly appreciate the effort you put into D3 and the forum here, Pat.  Without reservation.

Can I point out maybe just this?  Conventional Johnnie wisdom around here does not mandate 'under thinking.'

This is getting entertaining.

Wonder if there's "conventional" wisdom on any of the other boards?

If you've read "Freakenomics" you've heard that "convential wisdom" is often wrong!  But I digress, it's game day guys!  Wildcats have gotta win this one since I'll be locked up in a continuing education class for most of the game.  I expect a big first half (which I plan to watch during lunch break) so that I can relax in the afternoon.  :) In all seriousness--good luck to both teams!  May all the guys come away from this without any physical injuries (somebody will have wounded emotions at the end of today).
Go Cats!

Geez you guys. Let's all just try to get along. ::)

I guess it may be so obvious to point out that when Pat, Keith and others make predictions, they are in fact making ASSUMPTIONS.

This whole fandom thing is based on making assumptions. Some are informed, some are uninformed, and about 1/2 of the time each one of us comes up wrong. I guess Pat has been wrong about St John's this year more often than he's been right. All based on informed assumptions. If we ban assumptions, we may as well stop this whole crazy mess. ;D

Fixed it for you DustySJU!

Can a man finish his international law outline before kickoff?!?! I feel like Jack Bauer.

Having read the whole USTd QB debate between Pat and the Johnnie faithful.....assumptions, underthinking...blah, blah, blah.  I am amazed that somehow Pat has been able to determine that Morse is capable of performing at a level that will enable his team to win against a very good Linfield team without much in the much in the way of evidence....at least when the Waldvogel jocksniffers jump on here they can point to his performances against the Dead Sisters of the Poor.

I have heard many times that "Hope is not a strategy".....it would appear as though Pat is relying on Hope to justify the love on this issue......you know it is possible that I could win the PowerBall tonight even though I have never done so ::) ::)

Pat Coleman

The word you used is perfect: capable. That's all I'm saying. Not everyone thinks he's even capable.

Three things:

1. Lin's O line is fast and scary.
2. Can we pan out a little video guys, most plays don't happen in a 5x5 yard area
3. That field position is less than ideal.

Thank-you.
We just love platooning quarterbacks.
