That was a ringing endorsement.  :)

Nanoo, nanoo.

QuoteBut Linfield was far from its most efficient, too. The Wildcats managed only 355 total yards – partly because they allowed Boehme to be sacked three times. They had allowed only six sacks the previous 11 games.
Punt snaps dribbled back to punters, receivers dropped passes and one opportunity after another went south in a sea of balky execution.

if only my head was not stuffed with straw then I could reply to that.

Friggin' Vikings.  Last I checked, AP had 16 yards rushing on 11 attempts or close to that.  Sigh.  Childress sucks again.

BTW, anyone besides Pat know when Pat's letting him back on?

I dropped a hint on the NWC board ... on Friday.

\BTW, yahoo sends me the temps in Collegeville and MSP on a daily basis.  Up until this past week there has only been a difference of about 10 degrees between them and local temps.  Lately, though, the difference is up to 30 to 35 degrees.

The greater Collegeville area had been unseasonably warm because of all of the hot air coming from VOJ up until about a week ago.

Did it get cold up there all of a sudden then? Cause he's kept up the "banter" after an embarrassing home loss to a Carleton team that struggled to score 40 against my Gusties...

Yes, I'm talking hoops. We all know GAC sucks in football.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

He is sulking.

Is TDT really sulking? Why? Pat did say on Friday that his suspension was up. Why didn't he come to Oregon? GHC was ready to pick him up at PDX, and he missed out on a great tailgate and game.

Hey, TDT, since you didn't use your miles, is there any chance you'd want to donate them to some of the Wildcat fans who'd like to go to the game in Whitewater?

TC...you had some nice posts regarding the "dating the team" reference and then you take a shot...lumping you in with USTTDT would not be an issue....

Pat give him another week at least...the board is not missing him.

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

TDT's PR staff will be handling all questions/inquiries later this afternoon.  Thanks to my many supporters (including but NOT limited to W. Clark, Bluenote, Veek, DustySJU, Finsleft, and VOJ) who reached out with calls/emails during the suspension.  Speaking of suspension, if anyone would like to know WHY I was suspended just let me know.  What I posted was 100% factual and would have made 97.4% of you pee your trousers especially if I had Hyperlinked the report....

CC to VOJ: Can't wait to see you this winter for some hoops.  I'll be sure to stop by Press Row to say hello.

Redtooth

I thought I had seen everything dumb that a college player could do when Burton from Trinity got drunk and went Mike Tyson on the cop on Riverwalk back in 2002.  Not such a good Stagg Bowl for his team as a result.

This past Thursday night Stephen F. Austin flew here to Missoula to take on the UM Griz in the quarterfinals.  Within 2 hours of that arrival their All-American QB (4,000 yards and 40TDs) and several of his teammates had found the way to Red's Bar.  Being the hospitable fans that we Montanans are and seeing them dressed in their team apparel, the adult bevvies were on the house (and the fans).  By the time the evening had ended, at least 30 SFA players had made sure dehydration would not be a problem during the playoff game ;) ;)

You can probably guess the rest of the story in today's world of phones with cameras, Facebook and fan chat boards.  The evening was well documented as evidenced by the attached link.

Needless to say, the #1 offense in FCS was held scoreless and lost 51-0, although they did lead in turnovers with 10; 5 picks and 5 fumbles.

Welcome back, hoping that Caruso's basement was every bit as good as home.   ;)  Well deserved -K to you.

USTBench

Welcome back TDT. Good article Redtooth. I wish the Sioux had pulled something like that before they got spanked by SFA.

Looking forward to next season in the MIAC. It appears there will be another trip to Collegeville for UST where it might prove rather droll to see the bovine people of Central Minnesota next to real athletic bodies. To be fair they enjoy their only sport, congregating in a grotesque hippodrome known as Clemens Stadium. They do this subsequent to stuffing themselves with meats and breads and Hamm's in a varitable hodge podge of miscreants known as Stiftungfest.

I might enjoy watching the "old school" Rats grow frustrated when they start to take breaks from the action to give the curious and toothless locals opportunities at covering up their bare chests with t-shirt canons. Welcome to Collegeville where the children look like Roseanne and their parents look like monsters!
