The schedule is up.  We're BFF's with AO for the next two years.

So much for my New Year's resolution to ignore him and hope he goes away... ;) 8)

You'd have better luck wishing that with Michael Meyers or Freddie Krueger

Safe and fun travels to all on 12/31..and best wishes for a Joyous 2010

Bell's Two-Hearted is good stuff!  I actually had some over Christmas!

I will have to send my liquor purveyor on a mission to find the Cross Cut.

I had the first tasting last night of the Northern Brewer's Two Hearted knock off I recently brewed! It is going to be excellent. just a little bit more carbonation to the keg and we should be ready to go.
Had a woman at work recommend Two-Hearted to me last week and saw the recs here so today at the work Christmas lunch I had a pint on tap and then another. Excellent stuff.

Repete, I want your job if you can have two pints of Two Hearted at lunch.

Sumander,
I took the week off but headed downtown because it's tough to pass up a free meal. It was a lovely mid-day subway ride home.

25 minutes until the New Year.  I'm not sure if I'll make it that long so I'll wish you all Happy New Year now and pretend that I'm still up at midnight.

Don't get too crazy kids.

Repete,

Another Bell's product worth trying is their Pale Ale . I prefer the Two Hearted Ale to this but it's not a bad alternative.

Question - Assume you're the athletic director of a major D-1 school whose football team is scheduled to play in a major bowl game.  What would it take to prompt you to suspend your head coach less than a week before the game?  Would the James allegations do it for you?  (Yeah, I know the coach has now been fired and all, but I'm still amazed at the suspension and especially its timing.  I can't see how this is going to work out in a positive fashion for anyone involved.)

Has anyone tried the New Belgium seasonal, 2o Below?  Tastes pretty good to me.

Happy New Year everyone!

I am sure his mother's coat and european shoulder bag made him quite popular! ;)

I got the variety pack and I really liked that one as well, the dark 1554 was pretty good to.  I feel bad as a Johnnie to say this, but the one I didn't care for was the "Abbey."  I'll give another try tonight though.

Happy New Year everyone!

Tmert, The seasonals from New Belgium that I have tried have all been pretty good. Their Hoptober

and

Mighty Arrow

are my two favorites from NB. The 2 below is outstanding on tap!

The 2 Below is decent.  I think the 1554 is awesome, though.  Better than Fat Tire.

I picked up some trial beers today.  The one I am most excited to try is Founders Imperial Stout (10.5% ABV!).  I had their Porter last week, and it was ree-donkulous.  Also, got a Sprecher Black Bavarian Ale that should be good, too!

Sumander, I was going to pick up a sixer of Liftbridge Crosscut for you, but I don't plan on visiting DL anytime soon...or ever again  ;)

I'll have to pick up the Bob Dylan variety pack and give 'em a try.  I agree with Bob and Duff that the 1554 is outstanding.
