Freebird;

You may be a James loving groupie wannabe, but I'm still looking forward to showing you a good time.  Just don't complain to daddy when I lock you in a shed.

Give my mobile (cell phone for you US residents) a ring when you arrive.  You should have the number (starts 0404) but if you don't then send me an email at work and I'll send it to you,

I'm fine with the shed as long as you don't choke me like Bobby Knight

Would anyone like to see Leach as the head coach of the gopher football program?

Nope.

Brewster is going to get an extension, so there are a couple more years to look forward to the Insight Bowl with a 6-6 (2-6 in Big Ten) record........

He already got it.

Congratulations to the Team USA for defeating Canada for the gold metal in the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship!!! Lots of Minnesotans on the roster and the head coach is from International Falls. Both of the games between USA and Canada in the tournament were excellent. Seeing the USA team with their gold metals around their necks, arms around each other, swaying and singing the National Anthem with gusto was priceless!!

Reagent, you must be excited about John Carlson, the player that scored the game winner, who is a Washington Capital prospect. The under 17 Team USA also won gold (beating Canada)a couple of days ago!  ;D ;D

Carlson has already played one game (maybe two) with the Caps. I think they may have called him up from Hershey when they played a game  where his parents could come see him.

I'm at least as happy that the Canadians lost. Those lousy "Neighbors to the North" were booing the US in all their games against anyone else. Plus you reminded me to go give our RPI friends props on Jerry D'Amigo, who seemed to be involved in every key play sequence.

I find myself not have a lot of love for Canadian hockey fans... It is definitely a case of the more you know about them, the more there is not to like. 8-) That is one reason that the Ducks and Blue Jackets have become my teams of choice and the Flames are a distant third. Interesting that I would rather admit to being a fan of two of the worse teams in the NHL than have to cheer for a team with a bunch of Canadians! ;)

I just hope the USA Olympic teams (men's and women's) can pull off the upset in Vancouver! ;D

You know how I'm a grumpy bastard here from time to time?  Seems like I'm always a grumpy bastard at work now-a-days.  It sure does wear a guy down.

I don't believe it's signed yet, still working out the details on both sides.

As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

It seems like every year during the Bowl season at least one of the Top 5 teams in the country is shown to have an amazing lack of depth at a couple positions.....How is it that a program like Texas does not have a backup QB that is capable of playing better than this guy?  In addition, how can Texas not have one reliable RB that they can give a couple of carries.....just stunning.

OzJohnnie

Ouch...  Don't try this at home kids.

"Firefighters cut free man's ***** from steel pipe"

A man who went to casualty with his ***** stuck in a steel pipe had to be cut free by firefighters using a metal grinder.

Medics at Southampton General Hospital could not get the man's ***** out of the stainless steel pipe because the restricted blood flow had caused it to become aroused.

And in a rarity for an English tabloid, there is no relevant picture.  Small favors.

Good times, SamWill, good times.

Anybody else notice that Texas had two #8's last night that played all the time?

WR Shipley and DB Ch Brown

It is ok in the NCAA as long as they are not on the field at the same time.
