I totally agree with you bennie about a goalie who comes that far out. Let's assume that a goalie wanted to take the puck, skate down the ice and shoot, Nobody can hit him? I thought that Price would get the penalty.

When speaking of "Bush League" and the "Fighting Sue" there's no one that can top them for the title. Starting a fight in the handshake line is the epitome of Bush League. I was heartened to see the Gophers hand them their hats a coule weeks ago. It looks like the rodents may have their game, finally. The new transfer Jacob Cepis, is quite the addition.

Speaking of hat handing, the Caps and Ovie gave Sid and his crew a little lesson. The only down side is that I had to listen to the Pittsburgh broadcast on the NHL Network. They give "Homer" a new meaning. DOH!

Fins would never run an ad like this
Don't give him any ideas  ;)

Scenario: A person in a crowded bar- somebody accidentally bumps into them, spilling a nearly a full glass of Hamm's..... with a sympathetic Stearns County jury and Fins' legal prowess it's pretty much a slam dunk  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Tmert, You staying high and dry out there? Has most of the weather been to the south of you?

Did I mention that I had a chance to visit the Rose Bowl for the BCS title game? What an awesome venue. Would love to see the Trojans play there some day.
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Minnesota Gophers: FootballScoop has just learned that Tim Brewster has talked with Detroit Lions quarterbacks coach Jeff Horton regarding the offensive coordinator position.  We hear Horton will be in Minneapolis as early as today to meet with Brewster.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Anyone else see the segment on WCCO tv yesterday about the UST student who has worn a Vikings jersey every day for the last eleven years? I suppose the color purple makes it somewhat acceptable around Tommieland. ;)

It's wet everywhere out here.

The Troy boyz play in the Rose Bowl at least every other year (it's UCLA's home field) - and maybe more often if Boy Blunder doesn't mess things up (they'll still sign one of the top 3 classes this year).  I'm sure you can get a ticket.

My oldest played in the Rose Bowl - it was a soccer game and he was only 12, but it was still the Rose Bowl - and it went into OT, too!

It's like Bluto from Animal House: 11 years of college down the drain.  I guess USTD will let anyone stay as long as they can keep paying fees.

Are they freakin' kidding me?  Five turnovers?!?

Vikings sure know how to rip the hearts outta people.  Absolutely dominated them and fumbled our way to second place.  Pardon me while I go kick the dog a few times.
