Ain't it the truth.  Still could have pulled it out but for a bad decision by BF at the end not to run and pick up what looked like an easy 10 to 15 yards (though I suspect his body did not want the pummeling), then some questionable booth review calls (no-calls) in OT.  Yuck.

SUMMIT!!!!!

ypical Viking loss in a Big Game-- "shoot self in foot as often as posible." All those fumbles, INTs and then the classic "too many men in the huddle" penatly.

When do we get a real pro football team in this state? (and no the Gophers do not count)
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

Are they freakin' kidding me?  Five turnovers?!?

Vikings sure know how to rip the hearts outta people.  Absolutely dominated them and fumbled our way to second place.  Pardon me while I go kick the dog a few times.

Now you have been baptized into the world of supporting Brett Favre...the thing is...the Vikings new that guy better than anyone, when the going got tough and you were to the nitty gritty, he would make the ultimate mistake, against Philly, against the Giants and now the Saints, big playoff blunders.

I have no dog in this fight as I am neutral on the Vikings, however the pick at the end of the game didn't lose the game. You can't be putting the ball on the ground and expect to win in the NFC Championship game. Statistically the Vikings put up big numbers, but didn't put numbers on the scoreboard.

Any way you slice it the Vikings would never have made it to  the NFC Championship with T-Jack or Sage calling the signals.

Just my 2 cents-  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I guss according to VOJ, in his purple addled haze, the Vikings should also get rid of Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, Bernard Berrien, as well as the entire offensive line that let Favre get battered into submission. If Favre was the only problem that contributed greatly to yesterday's loss, I would chuck my analytical skills and agree. All in all, Favre was probably a reason they were in position to win before, what I consider to be the unforgiveable sin, 12 men in the huddle, was committed, more than likely by a bad coaching move. Favre's decision that led to the INT should not be committed by an experienced QB, but at least it was a decision that was made on the spur of the moment to try and win the game, rather than a brain fart by people who are paid to stay calm in the eye of the storm.

Actually I am NOT a Vikings fan...all I am saying is in critical situations he makes mistakes.  I lived with it for 16 years and yes he is one of the big reasons they were in the NFC title game, but truth be told the Vikes should have been up by 2 TD's.  Brett Favre is an awesome QB...but in the big game he has not delivered the mail.

Q. Will Pete Carroll bring professional football back to Seattle? (Don Orlich, Pullman, Wash.)

A. I don't see why not -- he brought professional football back to Los Angeles.

Now we just wait and see if the Boy Wonder can maintain the it! ;D

Any more word on Garrett keeping his job or will next football season determine that?
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

As good as that is, I like this one better:
Q. Is it possible that the ancient Mayan prophets predicted Brett Favre's retirement date and not the end of civilization in 2012?

I would like to let you all know that the gracious freebird got Mrs. Oz and #1 a pair of center court tickets on day 8.  Fantastic seats.

So, thanks freebird.  Minnesota nice never goes away.  I owe you a good night o' beer and eats.

Once the Quarter are over tomorrow things slow down a good bit for me and I'm very excited to take you up on that.

You have a very gracious and sweet family.  I'm glad they enjoyed themselves and am especially glad they made it out on a great afternoon of tennis.

I have no doubt he'll try.  Hopefully the NCAA will take a dim view of it.
