Ambrose finished 11th in Atlanta today.  I've never been much of a NASCAR fan, but I follow it a bit to see if the Aussie can make it in the big time.

Congratulations to Augsburg on the National Championship in Wrestling.

Thanks for the update.  I got drawn into the Big Ten Championships yesterday (MN is looking good--I hope Dustin Schlatter is OK), but I totally forgot about the DIII tourney.  Congrats to SJU junior Minga Batsukh, who won his second consecutive national title this weekend!!!

Good, cause I never heard of the guys you were talking about. I only know Gretsky and Bobby Hull.

Bobby Hull played hockey in my neighbor's backyard.  My neighbor has the old hockey rink from Delavan High School set up in his backyard and it won a contest for the best outdoor rink.  First prize was a visit from and skating with Bobby Hull.  So one Saturday morning Hull, my neighbor and a bunch of local guys played a game.  He even has a Zambonie that he bought used.  It's prety cool.

That's easy driving distance for retagent. He may want an introduction to your neighbor.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I'm in. and it's GretZky by the way.

Kind of like I feel about OZ's "Footie MONOLOGUE" But then, I'm not one to bitch. :D

And the guy just thought he had worms...  Queenslanders:  Providing modern inspiration for the sequel to Deliverance.

Actually, though, Melbourne did have some exciting weather on Saturday afternoon.  It was a huge thunderstorm with significant hail, some areas reporting chunks like golf balls.  I was just picking up #2 from gymnastics when the storm struck and streets were flooding.  Downtown got it particularly bad.  15 minutes of heavy rain and downtown streets become rivers.

You gotta wonder about Melbourne.  This time last year I was posting about raging fires that burned out entire towns and killed 200 people.  This year?  Flash floods.

Has news of TDT popped up in FLA again?

I like that her former husband was holding the steering wheel for her while she was driving to meet her boyfriend for the weekend.

Probably hoping she would remarry so he could stop paying alimony.

Did you see that incredible goal by Melbourne vs Sydney?  Just saw it on Top 10 and it was such a cool shot into the upper 90.

D O.C.

I would PM this to any one I thought would take it but it seems you all get it...

Soccer?  I'm embarrassed to say say 'Yes'.  #3 was having her fifth birthday party and we had her Godmother and family over.  They are Greek and so after the party we had the soccer on.  Out of politeness to our guests I managed to stay awake.

I think soccer should be banned from top ten lists.
