Nice! Wish I still had the old Scorpion and Trailmaker somewhere. I was in Whistler most of February and the visitor centre there had some great old rides on display. None looked as sweet as yours!

Whistler?  Did you need a snowmobile or a jet-ski?  8-)

Way to go, Fins.

We took home some hardware, too!  Got our AKC Rally Obedience Novice title.

(I'd better make this next post a doozy!)
Looks like he has you well trained.  ;)

Whistler wasn't bad. It was those poor saps down south at Cypress Mt. who got stuck in the soggy hay bales. Actually skied a couple of days in powder that was very unNW-like.

Two real disappointments: 1) hot tub repairman was seen arriving when we were checking out. 2) a country that used to be so reliable for good brew is now pretty average. Growth in regionals/micros here has left our northern neighbors a bit behind.

I'm left wondering what you were doing in the heated bacteria frap that gummed up the system.

A second thought: what job could fill you with more foreboding than a hottub repair guy at a ski resort?

Indeed. I did not get a chance to foul that stew. When we checked in the first week of Feb., they were "just about to get to it." When I checked out on the 28th, repair guy arrived. Would have preferred a sauna anyway ...

Ignore the crashing sound, it's just civilization crumbling.  How does something like this get financed?

Very nice - this from the country of the cultural colony of Mad Max

How did that or any other Australian movie, including block-busters like Australia and Shine get financed?  By the tax payer of course.  Sigh.

How about this classic?  Young Einstein, starring Yahoo Serious.  Courtesy of a 46.5% marginal tax rate.

Yahoo Serious deserved an Oscar!!   ................Seriously.

Minnesota ahead of Purdue at the half - 37 to ELEVEN!! :o

When's the last time a top ten team was held to eleven points in a half?

Didn't Purdue lose their top player to injury recently?  I think their ranking is inflated based on their current lineup.

The excitement of the UofM making the NCAA tourney has driven everyone away?  A first game loss is on the way, I'm afraid.
