I just found my latest Twitter Favorite.  Ray Grant from Hamline.  He has something to say to the MIAC this year.

Hopefully, his presence will augment the "Lead Pipe Defense".

A tradition unrivaled...
MIAC Champions: '32, '35, '36, '38, '53, '62, '63, '65, '71, '74, '75, '76, '77, '79, '82, '85, '89, '91, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '99, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '08, '09, '14, '18, '19, '21, '22, '24
National Champions: '63, '65, '76, '03

For those who attended the Piper-Johnnie Game at Hamline last year you may remeber the the PA announcer  saying" It is 4th and a mile for the Johnnies"  as we lined up to punt( which was then turned into a fiasco by our Punt team and run into the end zone for the only Piper score ALL DAY....so now this young man is blowing smoke....Hamline.....13th grade as we refer to it! I cannot wait till they roll into the 56321 this year..... I want a MOMKEY STOMP (as a certain JF.com member refers to pretty good beating of an opponent!)
Once a Johnnie...Always a Johnnie....

Looks kinda like your old picture, Duff - which, unfortunately, has disappeared with the demise of the stiftungfestivities.com website.  :'(

I'll say one thing for Mr. Grant - he can sure tweet alot in one day. :o

BDB!!!!  You make me feel young again!  I have wanted this for years!

"A pair of choppers!"  I can't believe it.  "Not interested!  Are you gay?"

I cannot believe that you pointed this link out.  I've already sent it to Mrs Oz who remembers this fondly from our days in the Nort Land.  Thanks again.

Happy Birthday ROR.  You old dog, what are you gonna do to celebrate?

TDT is locked and loaded for the Johnnie FB Luncheon next Thursday.  Who else is attending?

ROR: Are you actively tweeting now?  Or just reading?

Clark: Let me touch base with OAS (the patriarch of Stiftungsfestivities.com).  I am guessing he just decided to not renew the cost of hosting...

Tats: Relax.  Pace yourself.  It is only July.  You'll have an entire week to blast this kid when the J's play Hamline.  Great sleuthing from WC11.  Love the smack talk and confidence from Grant...

Thanks TDT...but Grant wrote that to D3football.com and PC re-tweeted it.  I simply stirred the pot.  :)

WC11,
You didn't mention that the young lad's coach played in the 'Catdome'  ;)

Yeah, Coach Good was a hell of a running back for the 'Cats and I like him very much.  I can 100% promise you that he wouldn't be down at all with young Mr. Grants tweets.

As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Understandable; no reason for OAS to pay to keep it going.  In that same vein, however, all 3 links on the Stiftungfestivities page of JohnnieFootball.com are dead.  When is that site coming back to life?

Johnnie Red

Speaking of the Stiftungsfestivities, remember that the 149th Stiftungsfest celebration in Norwood Young America is August 27-29. I will be working the burger stand Friday evening. Hairball is playing that night in the entertainment tent. Very interesting band for those of you who like 80's rock music.
