Retagent- Thanks for the karma and support.  This is my first trip outside the comfortable confines of the MWC board.  Yall's seems cooler.  Nobody put pictures of hot chicks over there.  Of course, it wouldn't be fair for me to put any Texas girls on there...  Y'know what I'm sayin'???

Ears to the ground yall.  That sound you hear is the stampede of Blueboy Nation.  It may be faint now, but I highly recommend that you seek some high ground.  Is there any high ground in Minnesota? ;D

Welcome.  Good luck to your son.  I hope he plays well and enjoys the competition.

Speaking of UMU, is raiderguy around?  Is he still in Minn?

Pat Coleman

He bought Kickoff, so I know he still follows the site. Don't know when he last posted or if he's still in MN.

And on Fav... Fav... Fav-ray...

If he's not coming back, I hope Childress isn't either.  Completely hopeless that guy.  How many years now investing in Jackson?  Four?  Frickin' ridiculous.

Oz- Honestly, what's rediculous to me is the way Favre continues to go through the routine everytime ESPN packs up their cameras and starts heading out of Mississippi.  It's like "Hey, don't go!  I'm thinking I might come back.  Meet me at the high school!  Bring your cameras!"  What is also rediculous, is the way the fans keep welcoming him back.  I mean, isn't there point where even the biggest Vike fan says "Screw it! Stay the heck, home!"  Even my son, who is a huge Favre fan, and has given him a pass though all of his headline grabbing nonsense, is tired of it.  I'm not doggin' you or anyone.  I'm literally shaking my head listening to ESPN tell me to stay tuned for the latest on Brett Favre.  Somebody needs to call this guy for how obsurd this routine has become.  Is Rosen-copter still there?

I'd be willing to bet $10 that Favre will play this year.   Ya, I know I'm a high roller, any takers?

He just doesn't want to come to camp and has to come up with a reason.  Within a few weeks, probably with two preseason games remaining, his ankle will make a remarkable recovery and Chilly and Zigy will be picking him up at the airport.

I ain't takin the bet, cuz I agree.  I just wish we didn't have the circus each year...

A lawyer and a senior citizen are sitting next to each other on a long flight..

The lawyer is thinking that seniors are so dumb that he could get one over on them easy.  So the lawyer asks if the senior would like to play a fun game.

The senior is tired and just wants to take a nap, so he politely declines and tries to catch a few winks.

The lawyer persists saying that the game is a lot of fun.  I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me only $5. Then you ask me one, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500, he says.

This catches the senior's attention and to keep the lawyer quiet, he agrees to play the game.

The lawyer asks the first question, 'What's the distance from the Earth to the Moon?'

The senior doesn't say a word, but reaches into his pocket, pulls out a five-dollar bill, and hands it to the lawyer

Now it's the senior's turn.  He asks the lawyer, 'What goes up a hill with three legs, and comes down with four?'

The lawyer uses his laptop and searches all references he could find on the Net.

He sends e-mails to all the smart friends he knows; all to no avail. After an hour of searching, he finally gives up.

He wakes the senior and hands him $500.  The senior pockets the $500 and goes right back to sleep.

The lawyer is going nuts not knowing the answer.  He wakes the senior up and asks, 'Well, so what goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four?'

The senior reaches into his pocket, hands the lawyer $5 and goes back to sleep.
