no problemo... we're all volunteers here.

In other news.... Bo Diddley's has re-signed for another year... mention the Johnnie score and get half off your sammy...

Someone take TDT out for lunch at St. Joe's most famous sandwich shop... he says he's never been there.

Would vincent jackson be a good person to add to our receiving core?  I wouldn't mind if Berrian wasn't on the team.  He has trouble catching passes and fielding punts.  If only Rice would have gotten surgery over the summer and be ready for camp.  One of my coworkers who thinks he is a sports genius said "maybe he couldn't afford the surgery!"  I immediately left the room so I could Laugh out loud!

Anyone going to Auggie Tech this weekend?

Was thinking about it. Could be an interesting matchup, and a great warm up before the John Prine concert Saturday night.

Pick-Ems are up. Game to watch: According to Pat and Keith on Around the Nation podcast, MIAC pride is on the line this week when #20 Eau-Claire travels to #14 North Central as the CCIW will move past the MIAC with a win.

hazzben-

Do you know anything about why Andrew Johnson hasn't played yet?  I saw that he wasn't suited up at the game Vs. Concordia Wis. and thought he had a knee brace on, but wasn't close enough to tell for sure.

Torn MCL during camp. We also lost our #2 receiver to an ACL. Word is AJ should be back for Olaf after the bye, but definitely back for SJU.

Tough for AJ after the preseason All-America pick, but it's been good for the D. We've still played well up front and it's given some snaps to a couple younger guys that will now likely be used more effectively in the rotation. It'll be very nice to get him back in there though.

K & WashedUp: thanks for in game score updates. Any chance either of you might come up to the SJU v BU tilt? Be fun to put a face to the moniker.

No Bethel-SJU game for me.  Unfortunately, I will be working that weekend (company is switching to new software and needs me there for the weekend).  If I make it to any games this year I will try to go to the Carleton-Augsburg, Carleton-Olaf, or possibly the Carleton-SJU game.  If anyone ends up playing at Whitewater in the playoffs I may attend that too, its not too far from Madison.

Same situation here. Probably going to make it to at least one of the Carleton-Augsburg/St. Olaf games. I'd likely go to the MIAC - Whitewater game if it were to happen.

Anyone going to Auggie Tech this weekend?

Considering it...need to work out some family logistics as there is a girl scout event (for 10 year old daughter) and birthday party (for 6 year old daughter to attend)...otherwise I would bring them along to entertain TDT.

Veek-you know TDT will be wearing purple at Homecoming, the only one on the SJU side of the field. Hope your dad can handle the looks.
TFC? Interesting...
ZIP,
Are you going to Homecoming? I have a Special Olympics commitment that day. We may have to find somebody to keep bennie from getting too unruly.  :P

No son playing football that day-but I will be able to listen to the game and maybe see video if UST somehow streams from the game-they mentioned they might stream the SJU game.

Cobbers going down on Saturday. Not-so-expert analysis pending. Hopefully sans typos.

Two of us plan to attend the Auggie Tech tilt. Does anyone know if they will be offering flu shots at the concession stand?  ::)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!
