EXCELLENT evening at Target Field last night. Thanks again, ROR and good to see you again. Also good to see you, TDT.. it was a meeting of great baseball minds. Watching the Twins celebrate after CWS' loss had me wondering-- wat next? Hopefully no ridiculous celebrations for winning a round or even 2 of the playoffs. However, HUGE celebration allowed/encouraged when/if they win the WS.

Looking forward to the next issue of Sports Illustrated-- I guess the cover shows Thome at bat in Target Field and is headlined "A Prairie Homer Companion". its nice to see at least one 40 yr  old athlete play well in MN 

Weather permitting, I plan to be at UST's romp over Concordia..... will you be in house, Cobbernation?

Just got back from the Twins game. Nice win today over the tribe with only 3 starters in the lineup. No question homefield advantage would be huge going forward. Of course, the year the twins have what appears to be their best team in a while is the first time in forever the AL loses the all-star game and ensures a lousy NL team home field in the WS.

Me!  Of course I'm always worried, but the D has to step up.  I think they will, but they're young/new/thin at some important spots, so the new guys gotta step up.

Me, too. Although, I was busy getting boozed up with my coworkers, so I didn't see too much of the game.  Beautiful stadium, though (my first trip to Target Field).

I will most likely be at UST to watch the cobbers win.  It will be a great upset and UST will not go to the playoffs.  Then I will be going to the bank to watch UM upset Northern Illiniois.  Any win the U has will be an upset since they are not very good.

Great to see the Mayor last night at Kieran's for a few ice cold Finnegan's.  Beautiful night at the yard and an electric atmosphere.

Looks like the scrubs and the hungover players are rallying again this afternoon. This Twins team is pretty fun to watch.

Great to catch Fins on the Target Field scoreboard video screen for about .5 seconds after the game was over.  I looked up and there you were, bigger than life.

I was certain  Dusty and his 6 female companions would be featured on the video board.

Yea ROR reminds me.  How the hell did DustySJU know that TDT was wearing a turtleneck at the ballgame last night?  Is this guy a ninja?  Something tells me that DSJU spent less on concessions at Target Field with his brood of 5 plus Natural Aimee than the Little Wiener Doggie does at Clemens Stadium...

Game preview up at JohnnieFootball.com at 10pm tonight.  Everyone be safe in the ghetto near Auggie Tech (especially Clark whom I'm sure could be a target of the flying beer bottles...).  Let's practice the buddy system so everyone is accounted for.  I won't be in attendance as I am traveling to DC tomorrow morning.  Enjoy!
