A Penguin fan on a call in program made a comment, "Trade Crosby trade Malkin, fire the coach. Blow up the team and start the rebuild."  I think he was joking, trying to give a b!#ch slap to those fans who are easy to panic after a couple losses. I think we die hards believe that this is a glitch, not the new norm. It hurts, but we've seen worse, and recovered.

Boy this sure is a tough crowd.  St. John's loses three games in a season and it's news.  Meanwhile Augsburg lost their third game in a row and nobody cares.

Are their any standout high school players out there reading this thread that play defense?  If so please contact Coach Haege and tell him you want to be an Auggie because until they get some players that can tackle the running backs and cover the wide receivers they're never going to be much more than an average college football program.

When does Bethel play UST?  

Very impressive decade versus the Johnnies for the Royals! 5-5 has got to be the best record anyone has had over a 10 year span against SJU.  You've succeeded in making the rest of the 2010 season meaningless for St. John's.  In fact TDT will be going to Chicago instead of watching WC11's favorite MIAC player Ray Grant hold the clipboard...

BTW I nailed it last week.  The tailgating scene at Bethel is 2nd to none.  The beer/bloody marys flow contrary to any bullish!t from Johnnie Red.

You've officially reached clown status now, Max.  Please be sure to be in Chicago for the rest of the season, as I certainly don't want to see you.  There are a bunch of Johnnie players and others for whom the rest of this season is not meaningless, and you'd be well advised to steer clear of them.  You'll be more comfortable at the Tommie games anyway; they're the front-runners now.

Is it possible to have a dscussion about the future of SJU football and the coaching staff without being considered a heretic?  Are there people of real influence close to this program who have a plan for the future or must the Emperor (no disrespect intended) be truly naked before the discussion commences?

Was it only me or did others see Haugen sitting on the bench after the BU?  He looking like a dejected and demoralized man.
