I haven't checked in on the MIAC's number 1 twittering WR but this is what he had to say after their loss to UST two games ago.

--My 10,000th tweet goes to the undisciplined, not so good, UST football team. Y'all played a hell of a game. #SarcasticTweet!

I'd be upset if the final score wasn't 61 to 17.

Why would you be upset that UST got a shout out in RGII's tweet!?!?!?!?!?! I'm overjoyed!

Beer & hockey doesn't work for Duff so lets try this :

Paul Parise bagged one rare fish this month.
Parise, of Ladysmith, snagged a 51-inch inch albino muskie on Oct. 6 on the lower Flambeau River in Rusk County.
The fish is the second albino musky caught in Wisconsin waters over the last five years. A state Department of Natural Resources fisheries crew caught one in their nets during population surveys in 2005. Tim Simonson is the co-chair of the DNR's musky committee. He says albino muskies rarely survive to grow as large as the one Parise caught because they lack the camouflage they need.

The Stiftungsfestivities will be coming to Northfield this Saturday at Sechler Park. The park entrance is located 1 block west of the highway 3 and highway 19 intersection. Follow the service road between Kwik Trip and Walgreens for about 1/2 mile. The tailgate should be going by 10:00 a.m. Bring a culinary delight to share if you like. Sounds like the weather should be fine.

How is the playing field looking at Carlton?

Should we expect a close game similar to the last two times we played at Carlton?  Or a blow out like last year?

MIAC related Halloween costume ideas (Common Man is my muse):

1) Pair of stilts to make myself 7 foot 3 and go as SJU's record this year
2) I could pin a bunch of zeros to me horizontally and go as Ray Grant's stat line
3) I could wear a red shirt with 3 tiny purple dots on it and go as an aerial view of Bench and his friends at Stiftungfest
4) I could wear a purple shirt with a giant white question mark on it and go as the average Tommie fan's knowledge of football
5) I could wear a Scarlet Knight's jersey with some hip waders and go as a Carleton player on his way to practice
6) I could carry around an old paint bucket and nothing else and go as Hamline's trophy case
7) I could wear a Michigan Wolverine's helmet and go as a Gustavus player
8) I could wear a wrestling singlet and go as the best athlete on Augsburg's campus
9) I could not dress as anything in sit in my room on Halloween and go as a Bethel student
10) I could hire a tutor from Carleton to follow me around all night and go as a St. Olaf player
11) I could wear something old and outdated and go as Concordia's playbook.
12) I could wear a Hamline windbreaker and a headset and go as Tim Brewster in 2011
Actually number 13 is:
I could wear a sweater vest and a purple necktie with a headset and go as 2011 UST football coach Glenn Mason.
14) I could walk around without a rose and be Ryan Hoag getting voted off the bachelorette.

By the power vested in me by the MIACPP- I hereby karmalize you for the SWEET Ryan Hoag reference! :D

In the spirit of 105's karmalizing action, how about a topic that can bring all of us together on this divisive board in this particularly partisan time of the year in America?

Just how much do the Vikings suck?  Can it be represented with only 64 bit integers?  And how many ways can Childress be justly tortured in punishment for his sins of utter incompetence?

Will Chili be joining Brewster on the unemployment line? There will be an opening in Dallas by the end of the year, perhaps Big D is the next stop for each of them?

I don't think there is any chance this game plays out like the '07 and '08 games.  The only way I see Carleton keeping it close is to score with the Johnnies and I don't think that will happen.  I think SJU wins this one pretty easily.

Let's hope Goodell suspends Brett. He might try to play with his broken foot if not. Go T-Jack.
