I'd be on the purple side.

cute, but which shade of purple?

I've let my stance be known in the past.  Or you could just wait and see...

Remember Del Valley is #1 in SOS, so they are a legit #1 seed in the East.
I think UWW stays "west" this year, as the "west" isn't stacked like it was when Central and SJU received a #1, at least from an SOS point of view.

SOS is only as helpful as your record allows it to be. Del Val has an in-region loss.

Just don't see a one loss team getting a #1 seed when there are other regions with multiple unbeatens and Mount giving them an easy unbeaten atop the 'east'.

Dens: I'd probably try out the new purple seats on the visitors sideline or get a field pass & harass my pal WC11 with verbal barbs...

+ for the Duff, that skipped my mind.

I'm all for the field pass TDT. If I were you, I'd then try to stand in front most of his set-ups.  I'm sure the live video would get the shot of you in a head-lock being dragged around.

A one loss team will NEVER be a #1 seed.  The SOS/regional thing is an "in the moment" misnomer.  Looking at it now really doesn't mean anything.

Modified.

As for Duffman, his policy, as I recall, is conference allegiance is overrated and his hatred of UST will never allow him to root for his arch nemesis.

Good memory.  Although, I might add that my hatred for Bethel > my hatred for UST.

If Montclair beats Cortland this week and finishes undefeated they will most likely be the #1 in the East.  If not, UMU is.

Disagree. The Committee has recently shown a proclivity to building regions around teams they deem worthy of a #1 seed. If they have 4 such teams and a way to make that work geographically, they will probably try to do so again.

Teams worthy of being built around if they win out:

1. UWW
2. Mount
3. Wesley
4./5. UST/NCC (a push. if Wheaton wins, maybe they'd be on the list?? great SOS #'s)
6. UMHB...if Wesley stumbled, they'd be an easy choice to build around

Montclair, although unbeaten and a very good team, just doesn't seem to be in this class.

The location of Mount and UWW gives the committee great flexibility in building these regions, and they've shown us that they aren't afraid to do it. That, and until the 'east' wins a semi-final or prevents a transplanted Mount from running roughshod over it, there's no reason to think the committee shouldn't keep doing it.

I believe you mean a quarterfinal, as the East loses to Mount every year.

No, I don't. Mount is not sent East each year. Those years when Mount is North, the East champ loses in the semis. The statement about a transplanted Mount running roughshod over them was a nod to the quarterfinals.
