Hey guys, I'm a Benedictine supporter and just wanted to say congrats on a great season and Good luck on Saturday.  I unfortunately won't be able to make the trip to UST this weekend and am wondering if UST does any live video or audio streaming of their games??

Isn't next year the year the UMAC gets an auto bid? The NCAA is adding AQ, not deleting them.

I think you're right. Pool C is only going to get more uphill.

But adding the UMAC champ to the West brings a nice rd 1 bye for another top West seed  ;D
For what its worth, this year's UMAC Champ, Greenville, would give the Tommies a better game than
Benedictine.

Now, now.  Benedictine is IN the playoffs!  The fact that they lost to North Park by 11 (who hasn't won a CCIW game this millennium :P) is irrelevant. ;)

Maybe, maybe not. They have one common opponent, Eureka, that they both blew out.

Greenville has played no one of note, and lost to some very below average teams.

Benedictine has no quality wins & lost to North Park, but Greenville lost to Millikin. Both are terrible in the CCIW. Millikin beat NP 16-7.

I'd say the its a push. The UMAC is the lowest ranked conference in DIII, the NATHC, without looking it up, is about as bad.

But we'll see first hand next year how they UMAC champ stacks up on the national stage.

I can agree that Greenville-Benedictine would be a better game than UST-Benedictine.  If both teams had gotten in this year, UST would likely still be playing Benedictine as Greenville is much farther away from St. Paul.

Guess the UMAC belongs in the tournament about as much as the other crummy teams that earn an auto bid... not much gained, not much lost.

I'm officially throwing my hat in the ring for the Tommies and welcome a visit from the Purple Raiders which I would certainly show up for with thermos in hand and a nice cozy seat along the Anderson Athletic Complex.  I'm most certain USTBench would be as accommodating to inquiring Johnnie fans as we have been 4 him.

Bethel is the back of the pack sneaky darkhorse who I would just as much prefer see lose in the first round and which they probably most certainly will.

Long live the Tommies.

Oh, and by the way, congrats to the Johnnie for finishing strong.  Let's find a qb and return to our rightful place as conference champs and playoff contenders.

That job is WIDE OPEN- let's not wait until the 4th in line of an open audition during the Eau Claire game to find him :-\
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I've gotta say I'm pretty much in awe of all the playoff talk on this board going on amongst the ust(d)'s and bethel backers.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Hard to tell if they're running from the front or from behind.  Great fan base though.

stanbob, personally I prefer to let my team do the talking on the field. Is there something in particular that you would like to discuss?

He wants to discuss?  Why would he want to discuss your crummy team if you don't have the energy?

How about the new locker rooms?  Do you think they made the difference?

I guess that explains why you waited until they made the playoffs last year before you joined the board.

IF that happens, I can with predict with a reasonable amount of certainty that there would be a sighting of RAIDERGUY in Minny.  Yes, he is alive and kicking!   ;D

Correctamundo! ;)

If RAIDERGUY could make it, hopefully we could get Jenn Sterger to also make an appearance. ;D

JJR,

I was hoping you would be available should this occur. I have passed the word about  "The Fest"
And if it would work out Jello for all. Sorry I fell down on my responsibilities this year. :(

If Jenn comes I will be sure to wear my Wranglers.......no photos please! ;D

Tats, sorry to hear you were under the weather hope all is well now.

I've been doing plenty of playoff talking the last 3 days. Just not on this dead board.  ::) I even had the poor judgment to stick up for SJU on the WIAC board  :o

Seeing as how our opponent is from the IIAC, I've gone to them with some comments and questions about Wartburg.
