Mall of America?  Does staying near there make sense, or no, to watch a game at STU?

Yes, that's a fine spot, easy access to UST from there. Probably 10-12 minutes, highway into the city and then three or four miles on city streets with two turns.

On the weekends it should be smooth sailing.

Gig Harbor Cat

so am I reading things right the game video is no cost just tune in and watch ??

D O.C.

Maniac...that is a major thing your family's going through. Hoping for the best possible outcome.

Go 'CATS

Weather forecast for Saturday: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the upper 20s and lows in the low 20s.

I've got to believe this will be an advantage for the Tommies.  Us old guys can remember the superior LA Rams coming to to face the Vikings in December playoff games and playing very poorly outside at the old Met.

GHC--by NCAA rules none of the playoff videos can cost money for the viewers...I don't know if St. Thomas usually charges or not but last week's was free and is available still if you want to get a good preview.

Go Cats!

It doesn't necessarily mean anything but Linfield didn't seem to have too much of a problem playing last year in the cold weather at UW-W.

ROR,

It's been low 30's here....Granted it's not the 20's with the chill factor but I think we'll be more adapt to handle the cold than a SCIAC school.  At least I hope!!!  :D

I think you're lacking an appreciation of how cold it can get in the Pacific Northwest (ask the folks in Seattle how things went yesterday).  McMinnville is 16 hours north of LA.  Hell, the LA Lambs got cold in San Francisco.

"Amazing I get slapped around for posting a score & no more!?!"

Oh no you don't LongLife....Don't give me that "poor little innocent me" stuff.  We all know that was a premeditated slap at the Cats....You got caught...."red" "handed" ;D ;D

OK Gig Harbor Cat, I'll own up if you do the same! The original quote from USTBench below is well deserved & true!

USTBench - PLU...isn't that the team that barely beat Ray Grant's Hamline squad? Impressive.
27 - 20 I believe...

Now, is that enough to send bad karma?!? Give it Back  ;D

If we are hoping the weather is going to give the Tommies an advantage they're going to need, then it's going to be a LONG afternoon for the Toms! Can't wait for Saturday. Should be a good barometer (pun intended) for both teams.

My ten minute commute to work yesterday took over an hour and a half due to icy conditions. It has been cold here for the last week or so, so I am sure the Linfield players will be fine...as long as they don't have an Oregon driver transporting them. If they do, they will miss the game due to the driver gunning his engine on the ice and just spinning his tires (and not getting anywhere) or they will stop to chain up in a traffic lane on the interstate... Oi, these drivers are killing me!! 8-)

It's always free to watch UST on mnsportsnetwork but it's pretty grainy and slow sometimes. St. Olaf has the best webcast in the MIAC by far.
