Tracy was perfectly healthy until the last couple of series, when they needed Morse to come in and run the clock out. Honestly, I think they missed Chad Vandergriff more that game and he left early on. Vandergriff played Saturday against Linfield but got hurt again.

Respectfully dissagree, neither of the 3 were 100%. Period...

So what was wrong with them? Suspicious rash? Sore wrist?

Freebird;

You're convincing me that we may have a heck of a game on this weekend.  I may have to get up and listen over the interwebs a bit to follow the fun.

I wish the video feed was better. I had a grand plan to pull together some of the local video guys to assist with the Tommie broadcast but then realized I had already committed to working the Gopher bball game back in September. I wish I could get out of it but I'm on thin ice already.

A noon start is what time in Melbourne? 7am or 8am?

At the risk of inviting -K here this is my take on Saturdays Game between The Tommies & Royals, Short & Sweet!

Both teams have an equal footing on Offense & Defense for the 1st Line-Starters. Both Defense's are rock solid. The Offense for each is very good with each having different strengths. However, the quality of the Tommies Backups/Depth goes so much deeper, that plus the kicking game will be the difference maker in this rematch.

Tommies - 28
Royals    - 12

Goooooo Tommies Goooooo

So you are saying all things are relatively equal aside from the backups/depth/kicking.  Do you really think those backups/depth/kicking will add 16 points to the Tommies total score?

USTd scored 10 against Bethel in the last meeting. What leads you to conclude they will score 28 this time around?

Tommie Becker, Dakota Tracy & Ben Wartman are all at 100%, if that's not enough lemme know...

That's not enough. All three of those guys played in the last game.

Ben Wartman- 8 carries for 26 yards...ineffective

Dakota Tracy- 8-25 with 2 int and 122 yards...ineffective

Tommie Becker- 10.5 tackles, int...effective however you would expect that many tackles from a LB when the other teams rushes 45 times. I should add that Bethel averaged 5.4 yards a carry...

So those are the guys that make you think USTd is capable of putting up 28 points?

I think the operative word there was "100%"; no one is saying they didn't play in the last game.

Were Wartman and Becker hurt? Beckers numbers suggest he was in good health and Tobin proved to be a more effective runner than Wartman.

USTd scored 10 points, gained 253 yards, and only held the ball for 24:36. I think the rematch is going to be another tight game and could go either way. No disrespect to the Tommies but I don't see how they are going to put 28 points on the board or win by two touchdowns. It very well could happen just like Bethel very well could win by 19 or 23 points but using the information we have I don't think offering up "Tommie Becker, Dakota Tracy & Ben Wartman at 100%" is a very sound argument.

I said they'll be 100%, as in, they weren't on game-day past. Be that as it may, the boys will need to show it on the field of play. I'll stick with my prediction...

AYFKM?  100% is defined as having a good game?  It doesn't involve anything like, oh..., injury? Really?  Come on.  In the annals of shabby commentary that takes the cake.  You make snoopdawg look like a level-headed father just following the game.

Dang.  I was just going to do some searching on classic snoop postings.  I thought I might return to the OxyBob v Snoop who threatened to shoot who saga but it all appears to be gone.

I couldn't even find a "I took Tiger Woods to Lake Haversham in my fully decked out camper loaded with beer and barely legal strippers" claim.  And knowing what we know about Tiger, maybe snoop wasn't full of it after all...

SUMMIT!!!!!

BU will put up a good battle, but UST will sweep the Tommie/Royal doubleheader, winning football 17-6 and hoops 86-50
