They ought to show the hand being sheared off without any fingers. Anyone dumb enough to stick their hand down into the auger most likely had the fingers gone before this.

And they should add some blood plus some f-bombs coming out of the guy's round head for full force and effect.

So dumb it's almost good. The Queenslanders that made this Bundaberg Rum ad must have been drinking a little of their product when they dreamt it up.

EDIT: Belly Laughs!!! There were apparently complaints about the inhumanity of this ad campaign, so Bundaberg made this reply. Official warning: sides may hurt.

EDIT II: Snickering to follow. Bundy have apologized for their apology.

I'm in the post New Year's recovery stage. I wish you all safe travels and a bit of Aussie warmth for your celebrations tonight. We'll keep the rain down here, though. The Queenslanders probably want to give a bit up, though.

#1 son was chatting with his GF last night - doing a video call on g-chat, which was pretty neat since she is in South Korea right now. I asked her what time it was in Seoul, and she said it was Friday afternoon, about 3:30. So I asked her if Notre Dame won the Sun Bowl and she said "Hell, yes." It's cool getting to know this stuff in advance when you're overseas, right Oz? I just don't understand why Oz doesn't do better with his game predictions.
