Hey, Oz - As a native Tulsan, with friends who teach at TJC, please pick Arkansas or West Virginia for the venue of your next bumpkin joke. 8-)

Oh... Oops.  I didn't mean to do that.  8-)

I know it is a few months off, but it may be time to start sending out invitations to celebs for the 10th anniversary season of the Stiftungfestivities in Collegeville this fall. Any thoughts as to who we should invite? I am thinking of extending invites to Buck "Rock n' Roll" Zumhofe, a pro wrestler living in Cyrus, Michele Bachmann, my cousin Kris Humphries and his gal pal Kim Kardashian and Terri Traen of KQRS.

Speaking of the festivities, remember that this year will be the 150th anniversary of the Stiftungsfest celebration in Norwood Young America. It is the longest continuous celebration in Minnesota. It is the last weekend in August. Put it on your calendar now!

Depending upon the date, a Duffboy or Duffgirl may be able to make an appearance!  :o

Frank Rajkowski's blog is back in action and boy does he point to a lot of content.

College football: Johnnies back on field tonight - a brief on the quarterback situation.

College football: Bellefeuille sets sights on playing for the Johnnies - A five page (!) run down on what must be every incoming freshman.

Locked Out: Former Redskins assistant Chris Meidt is called down another aisle in life - A "Where is he now?" story.  Fortunately, it seems that Meidt has fallen on his feet post the Redskins.

Frank says he'll have another update after practice tonight.  Make sure to link his blog and check it regularly.  It's got the best updates on Johnnie football and a few tidbits from the MIAC as well.

EDIT: As promised, Frank came through with an update on the first Spring practice.  Highlights include a varmint pitch invasion.  I guess there really isn't much to report about a Spring practice - but it's appreciated all the same.
