If SJU was smart, they'd shoot the webcast from the visitors' side to include more of "the atmosphere" .... but then any background audio from that side might be problematic.

All they need is the video from the visitor side and synch in VOJ & the gang for the audio, sell CashWise Foods ads and they'd be all set. This  way satisfying the fans and the marketing department in one fell swoop. I do agree that a subscription based model would be the way to go. They could sell full season for $20.00 and individual games for a slightly higher per game cost.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

I don't know what kind of sucker it is, but I bet you a year's Johnnie football video subscription that there's one of them born every minute.

As an exercise in pricing, I would set a one game price at $7 which is the same price for a GA ticket.  The experience isn't as good, but then you don't have the cost or inconvenience of travel to the venue as compensation for the lesser experience.  Also, they must have some statistics around average number of events attended per GA ticket buyer - maybe four of the six home games.  So price season access to six games at $28 and individual games at $7, and then they won't undercut average GA attendance revenue (assuming that season ticket revenue from an offer like this will not be affected) and they give a good value proposition to non-attenders (like me) to sign up.  And maybe throw in access to a game archive for good measure - add half a game's price for this extra content.  Make the terms and conditions of purchase for home use only, or whatever the professional leagues say, and you don't need to worry about rival teams unfairly using archived film (or at least not legally).

QED.

Someone get me in contact with the athletic dept.  I've got a pricing analysis (with the requisite target customer survey, of course) and go-to-market proposal to make... :)

Triple post, but this article on Darth Vader's announcement concerning the recent slaying of the terrorist Obi-Wan Kenobi is very witty.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi Is Dead, Vader Says"

I love the fifth comment which is pseudo-spam for blasters, thermal detonators, etc.

but then they get older and they want to smell the fishies.  KS took the Stalkerette fishing last weekend for the first time and she watched KS put one worm on the hook then baited her hook herself the rest of the day.  She caught a total of 8 sunnies, rock bass, yellow perch and one 5 inch small mouth.  KS got about 8 yellow perch.  Trout fishing is in the a couple of weeks for the stalkerette.

Off day golfing for the Johnnies.  The fall to fourth with a lot of shots needed to get back into the game.
